PM Modi ends suspense over social media decision
As India was scratching its head over a cryptic tweet by Prime Minister Narendra Modi hinting that he may quit social media, the prime minister has cleared the air behind his decision.
Taking to Twitter a day after the internet-breaking declaration, PM Modi said, “This Women’s Day, I will give away my social media accounts to women whose life and work inspire us.”
“Are you such a woman or do you know such inspiring women? Share such stories using #SheInspiresUs,” Modi said with this, above, image.
On Monday, Modi sent the social media buzzing with his tweet, “This Sunday, thinking of giving up my social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & YouTube. Will keep you all posted.”
