but given your price range and our experience with them outside..
they might offer pretty much basic core features.
In one unrealistic (loot type) discounts event.. had tried 'LivPure' brand's products.
Reasonably good and despite being 1000-1100 kilometres away from their headquarters, upon direct/personal calls to their service heads, sales head..
back then, they specially sent an advanced air-quality testing unit.. to the local office, who then visited the senior citizen customers to demo and help set up the air-scrubber.
At that time, LivPure people had claimed to have achieved 70-75% indigenisation.
By now, I am assuming, there might be almost 100% indigenisation.
This mattered to us, as availability of spares, repairs and the speed of repairs, the finesse if parts mattered.
Others might feel.. they are happy with the Chinese brands, as they get more features at a lesser price point.
Just to be clear: i am not dissing Philips, Honeywell
nor putting Chinese brands or LivPure on the pedestal.
For Delhi kind of mess, for products in the given price range, all will mostly be a psychological relied only, than much long term physical relief.
If it is matter of saving small kids, elderly people, immobile people, pets
then semi-industrial grade air-scrubbers from Alibaba, Aliexpress type sites might offer some real help.
Maybe Rajkot, Vapi-Valsad too can offer something in that category (instead of importing).
Dimers - please suggest on some popular air purifiers available on amazon/flipkart, and what features I should look for? Thanks
Try Airth AC purifier... basically it is just a Hepa filter which is put on top of your split AC and then you run the AC on fan mode. AC would have much more circulation capacity and will also make less noise. It is mostly effective and a cheaper option as well
Coway aim and xiaomi 4 lite are good options at 10k or you can purchase 2qty of agaro royal instead (6k each). Agaro royal has same cadr and room coverage as these two (atleast on paper).
Get Mi purifer 4. See the difference between Mi purifer 2/3s/4 which are installed at my place. Mi purifier 4 manages 40-60aqi where as other manages between 70-80 and 100-150 on auto mode.
Thanks. Yours is Xiaomi 4 or 4 lite, whats difference in both?
Whatever you buy dont use it on auto mode as most of them dont have accurate sensors and stay on lower mode than needed. Better run as high as possible just to be safe
