using Faber for the last 5+ years would suggest checking the dimensions as you have 60/75/90cms sizes so depends on what hob or stove you are using (like 2 burner/3 burner etc) and also have a minimum 2 service AMC (check if you have nearby service center) where they do one full major clean service and another is minor clean (it should be under 2k per year) so first year it's under warranty so they do the cleaning free of cost, 2nd year would suggest to clean it manually (depends on what model you buy) then 3rd go for a 2 service AMC and have it for alternate years..

Chimney is nothing more than a fan... Go for what suits your kitchen..it will last for good year..

Make sure it has got big suction area and if possible go for external exhaust based chimney

Check below features

1. silent chimney

2. Size 60/75/90 (depends on size of kitchen)

3. Speed (prefer more than 1200m3 /hr)

4. Check warranty(few brands offering 2 years and 5years on motor)

5. Motion less technology can be preferred. (Easy to increase or decrease speed)

6. auto turn on feature can be great advantage. (Crompton seems to be providing so)

Glen, Faber make good quality chimneys.

We have been using multiple Glen chimneys for many years now and never had a single issue.

Once you buy a chimney, depending on the usage, make sure you clean the filters either every fortnight or once a month.
