I have been using Nord 2 since Jan 2022. I am feeling for an upgrade. Good battery and camera is priority. Not a gamer. UI matters to me. Cannot move to Color OS or MIUI etc. So Oneplus and Xiaomi/Poco is not an option.
Snapdragon preferred.
Budget ~30K(+/- 5K).

Nothing Phone 1 if available again for under 35k for the 12GB variant. Excellent custom ROM development and anyway the OEM ROM is nearly 100% stock Android and free of bloatware and ads. SD 8+ G1 is pretty much guaranteed to be performant enough for the next 5-6 years at a minimum barring gaming of course.

Fully color os now with app suggestions(as I have seen in videos). also no gorilla glass. But had it been old oxygen os and screen protection I would have taken.

go for pixel 8 if you want good camera and a clean UI
it is not a performance oriented phone but a normal use phone
