1. Form 19 Withdrawal and Form 15G Submission
Yes, Form 15G may be required while submitting Form 19 to withdraw your full EPF amount, but it depends on certain conditions:
When Form 15G is required:
If your total EPF withdrawal is more than ₹50,000.
If your total income for the financial year is below the taxable limit
To avoid TDS deduction (Tax Deducted at Source) on the withdrawal amount.
When Form 15G is not required:
If your total EPF withdrawal is less than ₹50,000.
If you are withdrawing EPF after 5 years of continuous service (as TDS is not applicable in such cases).
2. Pension Withdrawal Amount (Form 10C)
When you withdraw the pension amount via Form 10C or Form 10D, the amount you receive may differ from what is shown in the EPF passbook.
The EPF passbook shows contributions to the Employee Pension Scheme (EPS), which are 8.33% of your employer's contribution up to a cap of ₹1,250 per month.
The actual pension amount depends on:
Years of service: You may get a prorated amount if service is less than 10 years.
Withdrawal Benefit Formula: Based on your pensionable salary and years of service (as per EPS rules).
If eligible for a monthly pension (after 10 years), the amount shown in the passbook will not directly apply.
Thanks For info but still i have one question
pf withdrawal is below 50000 but total income for the financial year is below the taxable limit still i need to submit form 15g?
