Bhai ati uttam.
I have not revealed this in DD. I was riding my activa while my father was on the pillion. So, there was this narrow road and it was a tight spot. An SUV came so fast and it acted as if it was a sports car. So, I veered to the extreme corner of the road, the driver rubbed us n went. My father’s nail got ripped of and he bled a lot. I was in tears after seeing my father’s condition. Bystanders stopped the speeding SUV. I took a picture. I didn’t waste any time arguing with that idiot that time. I rushed my father to nearest emergency room. The SUV driver took my father to the hospital. But it happened after people advised me to put an FIR against him. What happened next. The driver folded his hands infront of me. I said I don’t have time for this right now. I took his phone number n gave mine. While the nurse was doing bandages he called me like 20 times. Then he said his mother tested Covid positive. Your biki bhai had to let him go. Seriously, so much things happened, I neither said an abusive word nor did anything abusive in nature.

Whatever happened is not new, it happens everytime. So, there is a very good reason for me to celebrate at this fuel hike news. Good job.

Cannot comment on what to do or not do (let go) in such situations.
Have had been in similar situations and often felt helpless as parents only much later inform that today so and so truck dashed their vehicle or a fast biker grazed them badly while they were on foot.

But going by your justification and celebratory last line….
I should also say that I am happy that my cousin is ‘sort of’ infertile or will never experience motherhood via self pregnancy.
and others (men and women) being infertile is a good thing….

BECAUSE I AND SO MANY OTHER KIDS THAT THEY RAISED anyway turned out to be bad apples… so… not being able to have one’s own kids… is a GOOD thing😑🤷🏻🤦🏻‍♂️ for those infertile men and women.

[and yeah, I replaced your entire comment with a ❞‎‏‏‎ ❞… because THAT is what (many of) you all anyway eventually do. (apart from having the entire thread delete requested at times)].

The intentions are very clear, Govt sees petrol/diesel prices as the major source of income.. so they’re shifting the burden on to general public
They’re also aware that, social media is full of blind idiots who are going to support their actions no matter what.. so, they are very optimistic about the consistent price hike

Yeah, of course.. the diesel/petrol prices might mean nothing to the blind or jobless souls or those WFH ( Some might even rejoice seeing someone’s plight just like they (WFH*) did when many lost jobs during COVID first-wave or when many UGs lost an year or two due to limited job offerings )
But.. if/when these people make the claims in a public gathering or a social media platform.. people will either laugh at them or feel pity for their ignorance !

These WFH people think that  by just not using their vehicles they won’t feel the heat of the petrol or diesel prices, but in reality these prices do increase the cost of literally everything e.g. vegetables, medicines, etc as the transportation cost increases.

Nice mental gymnastics in this threads. Due to an errant driver, someone suffers an injury (regrettable incident) . Then using 3D level logic to say they rejoice in fuel hike because of that roads will be safer.
