how we do post news , show 1 side , completely hide another side (what the officer said) , this is the news ..
murder , rape , train seat , cab , dth , passport centre , next ? after watching such news anyone will believe india is intolerant .
………….
first of all decide couple is hindu-muslim or muslim-muslim . bcoz the lady used both completely different names on several documents .
2nd thing inter faith marriage is where you are accepted with your faith , if you first need to convert yourself to do marriage then it is not inter-faith anymore . many people are married in other religions and they did not change their religion , that is called real inter faith marriage .
3rd and most important point is the reply from that officer (who was ignored by media and MEA sushma swaraj to prove their secularism) -
"" Asked Tanvi Seth to get the name ‘Shadia Anas’ endorsed as it was mentioned on her Nikahnama, but she refused. We have to do thorough checks to ensure no person is changing their name to obtain a passport:Vikas Mishra, officer who allegedly harassed Tanvi Seth at Lucknow passport Off. ""
you can not use 2 different names in official records . same thing officer said and asked anything to prove that name . now nothing worked in their favor so blame that officer , play secular card and get passport on same day without any verification direct from Modi Govt .
so if a person belong to a particular community don’t ask him or her to follow rules and submit documents to prove the real identity otherwise you don’t know what allegation you may face , simple . lesson learnt .
and if someone is criminal and get passport with different name and fly off from country this gang will blame govt that how they issued passport to him/her ..
""Subramanian Swamy : Is it true Sadia Anas was denied H1 Visa because she bore an Islamic name?""
in other tweets ""Sadia Anas@tanvianas was working in Dell & US had denied H1 visa to her due to old #passport name Sadia Anas Siddiqui so she created drama to get new passport with Hindu name.""
what if this rumor comes out true ?
and no one asking on enquiry of the officer and all people who issued passport immediately to that lady without caring for procedure , even in genuine case passport takes atleast 7 days to even 1 month after proper police verification and other procedures .
so this question needs to be asked to sushma swaraj too… if she told to process the application after that lady tweeted
Sushma Swaraj trolled over inter-faith couple’s passport row
Passport rules again changed now -
earlier rule was applicant should be available at given address (which tanvi siddiqui did not follow)
then sushma ji changed rules that no need to be at given address and passport office issued passport to tanvi seth again ignoring police report .
now rule again changed that applicant must be present at given address .
it clearly shows to justify one mistake rules were changed back to back .
someone is very desperate to be next PM from BJP , specially after getting support of entire opposition .
The Regional Passport Officer, Lucknow, told ANI, "Their passports have been issued. A show cause notice has been issued to the official who was at fault, action will also be taken. We regret the incident and will ensure it is not repeated.
Reports say that the passport officer has been transferred.
The woman, Tanvi Seth, alleged she was harassed by an officer at Lucknow Passport Office as she was married to a Muslim and had not changed her name. She tweeted to Sushma Swaraj seeking help, and said, “It was a humiliating experience, the officer was very loud & made attacking hand gestures.”
The woman, who is a Hindu, said, ‘We hope it doesn’t happen to anyone else. In 11 years of marriage we never faced this. Later officials apologized & we got our passports."
In a series of tweets directed at External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, Seth, who married Mohammad Anas Siddiqui, 2007, described how she and her husband were allegedly shamed by a passport officer named Vikas Mishra.
On the day of their appointment, the couple cleared the first two stages of the interview at counters A and B, but the problem started at counter C where one has to interact with an official.
