Step 4: Install and Configure Emby Server
Emby is a media server that organizes your movies and allows you to stream them to any device. Here’s how to set it up:
1. Install Emby Server: Download and install the Emby Server app from the Google Play Store.
2. Add a Movie Library: Open Emby Server, go to Libraries, and add a new library named Movies. Set the path to your Downloads folder.
3. Enable Auto-Scan: Enable Auto-Scan so that Emby automatically detects new movies you download. Leave other options as default for now.

Step 5: Access Your Emby Server
Now that everything is set up, it’s time to access your Emby server:
1. Find Your Private IP: On your Android device, go to Settings > WiFi and tap on the info icon next to your connected WiFi network. You’ll see a private IP address, such as `1...`.
2. Visit Your Emby Server: Open a web browser on your Android device and enter `http://{your private IP}:8096` (e.g., `http://ip:8096`). You should see your Emby server interface.
Step 6: Stream Movies to Your TV
Finally, let’s get your movies on the big screen:
1. Install Emby App on Your TV: Download the Emby app from your TV’s app store (e.g., Google Play Store for Android TVs).
2. Connect to Your Emby Server: Open the Emby app on your TV, log in with your Emby account, and connect to your home server using the private IP address you found earlier.

Voilà! Enjoy Your Personal Movie Library
You’ve now successfully set up your own home server for movies. You can download your favorite movies using LibreTorrent, and they’ll automatically appear in your Emby library. Stream them to your TV or any other device in your home network. Happy streaming!

My setup:

I use my old Samsung mobile for this. It stays connected to a small charger 24/7 and is connected to Wi-Fi. We download movies using LibTorrent and seed movies until my storage fills up. This way, I help the torrent community and others in downloading movies at high speed. I also have more than 1000 movies stored on cloud storage.

I watch a lot of movies and series, so I like this setup. I can access it from anywhere, and some of my friends also use my server.

Regarding electricity bill and battery, I use some scripts to stop battery charging (so the battery doesn't charge, and the mobile runs fully on AC power). My mobile consumes 5V at 0.5-1 amp, so I won't consume more than 3.6 units of electricity, which amounts to 29-29 rupees.
