I use this app called macrodroid. There's one template to forward sms to email, it's really easy and doesn't require root. I installed it on both mom n dad phone, and also filtered sms so I could only receive OTPs , not the other junk

I used this Message Forwarder app few years back and it was working with 2 sim cards with many filter settings. It's not available in Play Store so I'm not sure how secure it is.
Pushbullet app would work perfectly for your use case.
This app mirrors notifications on different devices. It works on phones as well as a Chrome extension on laptop/pc.
Update your number in each banking institution, it would be more safest and easiest way.

any msg containing key words like "otp" " password" cant be forwarded if u want cross check try to send any otp msg from ur mobile
I use PushBullet for exactly the same purpose. The only cons are that it requires internet connection on both the devices and you need to install the app in both the phones.
I use this.. Works without internet.
Best to use Automation apps (like suggested by smart users above)
And use already available templates!
