Order on hold in flipkart

Phone's price was down by 2000. So cancelled the order (non plus, non vip account).
Placed new order. Order status- ORDER RECEIVED but order put on hold. 3+ hours passed.
Never saw before order put on hold status. What it means?

Description - Notification sent when a shipment is flagged as Hold for COD, address, buyer authenticity, or other verifications. A shipment can be put on hold at any stage in a transaction.

It will get removed if stock is present. Mine order also got hold last month but removed after some hours.

Has happened with others too.
The previous order cancellation may not necessarily have bearing on it being on hold.
It could even be due to other factors like warehouse yet to be assigned due to no stock for your region/pincode or payment method related things.
