This is an Opinion Poll on Population control bill, All MPs and MLAs having more than two kids should be disqualified and banned from contesting MP and MLA election please give you opinions in this poll in the current bill only panchayat level elections are considered for ban but ban will not be applicable on big fishes (MPs MLAs) isn’t it an open discrimination?

Not at all… It will never help any state or country.. there are many reasons… @Chudiya ’ has got it right and many more… Development is the best contraceptive’ — this was said by our own health minister 4 decades ago in a world population conference. You bring development the population will automatically come down… Once the TFR goes below replacement level ( simply put if a women has less than two children), it can never go up since many countries promote migrants… Look at some of the states in India where this TFR is low people migrate from high TFR states ….
It should be applied to everybody irrespective of Caste,Religion and profession bla bla..
This is good only on paper. China did this when their economy was booming and it ended up as a failure. In states where gender ratio is already skewed it will lead to more female infanticide. Also in a couple decades you’ll end up with a large elderly population supported by a very small working class

Eventually any public office – like judiciary, public services everywhere this should apply.
