recieved this mail from onecard today. Any idea about this why it was done ? and any impact on cibil.

We would like to inform you that as per Internal Policy guidelines, your OneCard account has been closed.

We also confirm to you that there are no pending dues as on date. In case we are intimated about any enquiry, complaint or dispute by merchants/banks/RBI about your previous transactions which leads to any pending payment, we shall get in touch with you to clear those dues.

This is strange. Have you been keeping it active? I think after 12 months of inactivity, credit cards are closed.

Ok, that might be a case, I have not used it recently for some time. But I was expecting some reminder from them to do that before being closed. Recently the limit was increased as well

Same situation happened to me.i opened one card from 12th February with 5k FD,after two days I got same mails.i didn't understand what actually happened??someone pls tell how to fix this

I opened my onecard account in 2021 with a ₹50k fd. I was using it actively untill February 2024. They abruptly closed my account saying that it is due to internal policies and refunded my fd. I am yet to get an answer from them regarding the internal policies which led to closure of my account. I feel that it is not fair for onecard to do such things to an existing active customer.
