ONDC has been launched to promote healthy competition. Desidime Hot deals page indicates that several stores are offering some very lucrative deals. Dalals (pimps), hoarders & black marketers, tax evaders who used to sell without invoices are having nightmares.

Ye kaun bola bhai? Stop relying too much on Amazon and Flipkart, there are many other online & offline stores. Prior to placing an order, use price trackers and compare.
And if someone violates the rules, indulge in too much rotation, make commercial purchase, of course they will freeze debit cards.

Bro, quality is a concern. Ondc itself is struggling. Dont know sites offering quality product as well as discount other then fk, amazon, myntra. Few vegitable products found good with Spencer's. If I search in google for a product there is fk, amazon and few other unpopular sites.

Remember what happened within the telecom space?
Jio was launched and they offered free services including internet for almost 2 years. Everyone switched over to Jio. Other telecom providers could not compete. Some merged to surview some closed down.
Now, there are handful telecom providers and they will govern the telecom space.
In online shopping context, we are slowly killing the offline shopping business making the 2 giants, Amazon & Flipkart the king. They will dictate the rules not us, consumers!!

1. 2g max 3g
2. Data charges were not affordable.
3. Call charges were per second.
4. Remember the slogan 'xxx hai call nahi lagega bhai'
Same applies to these offline merchants at that time.
1. Medicines were generally on mrp no discount.
2. Grocery were generally sold loose, so it was very tuff to know that we were getting what was promised.
3. Discount on Grocery was very nominal, it was like rounding off of the bill amount.
Still i find offline merchants not first. Second, Third choice. except Medicines

Yes offline customers are more, But it maybe not because of offline merchants have better quality and services and offerings. There are many reasons behind this. The point is , are they happy? are they getting the best for their money?
And generally products are less expensive than those found on other websites or in physical stores, even after inclusion fees. Because of the high number of returns caused by careless chapri chindichor customers and abusers, stores began to impose platform fees and additional returns fees.
Some chapris I know in my neighborhood buy clothes online, wear them for a day at a party or function, and then return them. Some frauds keep the original stuff and return a copy of it. Coz of these shameless A.holes, genuine customers suffer. Online stores including Amazon & Flipkart revised their previously customer friendly policies to become more stringent after becoming aware of such frauds.
