Since I only use TV to watch satellite channels using Tata Play, I have no utility of the smart TVs (WebOS, Mi OS, Google TV, Tizen etc).
These smart TVs are slow to boot everytime they are turned ON and hence I am looking got a non-smart TV which is simple with no Apps. Don't even need WiFi connectivity in TV.
Are there still TV models coming which are simple like the ones used to come 5-8 years back.

I have a non smart TV with TataSky too but sometimes feel it will be useful to have smart TV with wifi (for my parents to watch devotional channels on Youtube on the larger TV screen instead of mobile). So plan accordingly for the future since your needs could change too in case you want to watch something even basic like youtube
Also after seeing how inexpensive some of the budget smart TVs are these days I dont think you will find a non smart TV for much cheaper than that.
tizen boots within 10 sec using cable 2-3 sec if u don't turn off the tv from power switch
Exactly, Tata Binge+ or Airtel Xtreme makes any TV smart.. there is no need to have a smart TV which takes ages to boot. That's why looking for any good/reasonable company non smart TV (Samsung, LG, Sony, Vu, Hisense etc.)
