No means No

I have observed many instances where other people hesitate or are reluctant to say NO.
They just agree to what others say. They agree to others' opinions even if they sound pathetic.
Say NO bluntly if you don't feel so or if you don't agree to something.
Don't let others decide for you.

true, sometimes i find it difficult to say no , not regarding opinions but regarding doing some favours... just because it's an ask from friend or some one close..
No means No is easy when you dont know someone:)
but its very hard when its a close person:), but yes, "no means no" always should be put forth:)
i do this if they keep nagging me:) or else i give in for 3 times, mostly in the 4th time i will start saying no for everything as they misused me xDDD
if that people is your closed one, and the argument or instances are local, just nod in public and say no later in private.
if the situations are not above always try to be polite and say i will let you know letter and tell them no letter.
There are times when you just can't say no...those times are generally related to human emotions and everything can not be black and white.
I'm a Jain, and we have our festival (Paryushan) going on right now. In these 8 days, we don't have potatoes, onions, garlic, ginger, carrots, and more such vegetables. The reason behind not having these veggies for a lifetime is very good. But my question is...what good would it do us to leave these eatables just for 8 days? So, I don't feel like leaving them (I love almost every vegetable...I savor food fully).
But my mother wants me and my brother to follow our teachings. Even if it's just for 8 days, she wants us to avoid these things. And we do it; not to make a change but for our mother.
Now, if you would ask me, I'd prefer eating everything, the logical answer would be black or white. But did I choose that answer? Nope...because we humans can't do that. Aadmi 1 social jaanwar hai jo group me rehta hai, vo logic se zyaada emotions prr chalta hai.
