today I went to BSNL office in my area (suburbs of Chennai) and the person told me only 3g is available in my area and plans to launch 4g on 15-Aug, also he told me due to more folks getting BSNL sim, activation which used to happen in few hrs is taking time and asked to wait at least for a day (there was a person next to me telling that his sim is not activated for more than a week and hence has come again to the BSNL office 😃)
also for users who are porting, they are suggesting to have at least a month's validity in your current operator/plan as for new sim itself they are taking long to activate so porting procedure from your current operator like sms etc will come soon but to action it on BSNL side they are taking more time it seems due to overflowing requests, guess this is the best and last chance for BSNL 😎
