People report that getting the rewards, cashbacks or other benefits via cards
is less cumbersome if purchased via portals.

They (members with experience of such dealings) have (in the past) informed of instances where dealerships refused to waive of the charges that the card networks often charge.
Thereby the customer is asked to foot those 2%-2½% charges.


On the flip-side, some members have cautioned that portals often take less interest in sorting things out when a dealership assigned to the order starts acting indifferent or even refusing to cooperate on timelines, other things.

The usual things like RC book, licence plate, accessories and insurance are some of the things where they try to squeeze or trap the customer.


Paying via cheque or a digital trail is always more helpful in declaring the assets in one's balance sheet.

But if in a rare case, some dealership is ready to accept cash.. in-lieu of making the deal sweeter, then it is worth trying.

Maybe they do some internal jugglery to book the sale of goods at a different price, while agreeing to offer more accessories as freebies
or even.. outright offer a slightly lower price.

But one needs to do the maths on the pay-offs in utilising the card offers/rewards versus the savings if one pays in cash.

Mathematics was never my strong suit, hope it is yours.

Hero super splendor because its on discount on online platform with cc. Atleast will save 10k. After you paid, visit the dealer assigned for paper work and talk to him about all your things. He is best person , whatever we say , you save , might not be true if he does not agree and you end cancelling your booking.

Honda surpassed hero this year in 2 wheeler sales. So hero is giving all sorts of discounts.

Both hero super splendor,  honds shine & sp125 are very well refined engines and reliable for daily commute. I prefer sp125, but around 1.1L for disc, no discount whatsoever.
