Need wifi Router UPS suggestions
I was using my Cuzor 12v UPS for my router for the last 1.5 yrs and now the battery is dead.

Cuzor team is also providing Repair services and in their own words: We have a team of skilled technicians who can assess your product. If you are interested, we can arrange for your product to be sent to our authorized service center with our ₹699 option! We'll replace the batteries or PCB in your returned unit which is faulty, and give you a 1-year warranty on the replaced parts. This might take an additional 4-5 days.
I wanted to explore viable options for replacement or repair.
Is there any other product in around 1k with better battery backup that can last at least 2 yrs?

Why not give an inverter line to your router? it will give power backup till the inverter lasts.
My intention isn't router backup but just get a constant connectivity to avoid cut off during online meetings.
I am using Ambrane PowerVolt Power Backup for Router . Bought from flipkart for 900 during a sale. Comes with 6000mAh battery. Good battery backup and been very reliable. On the down side warranty is only 6 months (they give extra 3 if you directly purchase from Ambrane website).
Try to repair yourself
Most probably it will have 18650 cells inside, buy it and replace(may need soldering) or take help from local electrician shop wala 😉
U can also use your old powerbank for which u need adaptor, available on amazon.
Challenge is only to find that adaptor cable. Any reliable website to buy that at reasonable price?
I've given Repair request for Cuzor. Anyways they'll provide 1 yr warranty.
i used oakter 9v it died just after a year (in 13th month). as per care it has limited number of charge/discharge cycles. once over u have to purchase new one.
using V-guard and Amazon basics router ups...
mostly these router ups work for 1-2 years.. then we have to throw them away.
and this is an 1 yr old thread.. so any one has router ups working for more than 2 years?
If it were me, I would get the battery replaced for 699. Same risk you take on buying another brand new device but at less cost.
All these cheap rechargeable battery-powered devices sold online ( ups for modems, torches, emergency lamps, portable battery backups, etc.) come with recycled 18650 lithium-ion batteries taken from scrapped electronic devices / electric car battery packs nearing its end of recharging cycle life...
Brand new rechargeable lithium-ion batteries are very expensive; they won't be able to sell these battery-powered devices for what they are selling now with fresh batteries inside them.
