Today morning my Redmi phone was stolen from my pocket while sleeping in the train just 2 hours before it reached the destination. My phone was switched off when I tried to call from other phone. I didn't store my IMEI number. I could not complain to the railway police or the TT as I couldn't find them in the train. When I reached home I found my MI account password changed. I immediately changed my password. I also changed my Google password. I need your help to provide the following information:
Can I get my SIM card from any mobile shop or only in the Jio store?
How to take steps to prevent misuse of my device?
Please suggest 5G mobile under 20K.
Thanks in advance!

Below 20k , get Samsung M34/F34.
Are both the phones same? And why people are laughing? Are they bad phones? Which is better phone then?
Find my device by Google can lock or erase data on Phone....
This is the very first step anyone should do after loosing physical access to phone.
File a FIR immediately and block your phone on ceir website
Block your Jio number ASAP. OTP is delivered to the registered email address. It's a pretty quick process.
GO TO CEIR WEBSITE ASAP
Online liya tha toh us website se bill nikal.lo,.imei mil jayega.
Offline liya tha toh ghar mai dhundo box mil jaye toh
- Block your SIM immediately and file an FIR. In 2-3 days of FIR, phone's IMEIs will be forwarded to cybercrime division for tracking/ tracing.
- About Duplicate SIM, it can only be done at official companies' stores only. You don't need FIR for duplicate SIM. You can just visit the store and ask for duplicate sim. Make sure you carry your valid identity documents.
Please keep me in the loop bro....
you can get IMEI number on google tracking
@urmila.contact ek bar IMEI Number mil jayega to kya complain nhi kar payega? or just comment anything like you

maybe this helps to find IMEI Number
1. Go to Google’s Find My Device.
2. Sign in with your Google account that was synced on your phone.
3. You will see your phone’s name.
4. Tap on the Information icon beside it.
5. It will show you IMEI details.

If u had purchased your phone from offline store or online
You may get your imei number from there
Try hard to think
I think you might get the detail
you can get the imei from Google find my device
Just get a duplicate SIM ASAP; aadhar is enough.
If your data is sensitive, go to findmy device and erase the data and then get a new sim; getting a new SIM will automatically block old sim.
No need of FIR and police willnever file FIR for a stolen mobile. CEIR or such a smilar local website available, you can fill the details therer as well.
Second thing nobody seems to ask how did the thief know the password of the phone?
After turning on or reboot password is necessary. If they had wiped the phone and factory reset it how did they access your mi account?!
You can see your imei number in find my device
If you have mi cloud logged in. Try I.mi.com for tracking.
Does ceir really work? It's been two months and I don't have any update yet from ceir.
It's useless gimmick.. nothing happens
Just lodge FIR with single IMEI
go to jio store and say u want to replace the sim as it's broken and take new sim with aadhar card
25rs charge for new sim
Go to ceir just for formality and block your imei number
Bhagwan aapko ye sanket jhelne ki kshamta de ishawar se yahi prarthana karte hai
Near 20k buy poco F5
Same case happened with me, only difference is mobile brand, my mobile was Samsung.
I realized below steps to follow if you lose your mobile
1. Block your simcard by visiting nearest network provider Gallery (they just asked original adhar). Your new simcard will be activated immediately except SMS services,it needed 24hrs to activate.
2.Recall your Gmail password and try to login via other device and check the last location of your mobile access or activated location.
3. As I am using Samsung mobile, I can tracked the registered devices via Samsung account login but you need SMS token to login (this you can track post 24hrs of new simcard)
4. File a case to railway police portal, you can also a complaint to local police
Easy to get imei
go to https://www.google.com/android...d/
you will see your phone IMEI as per below screenshot, now thank me 😄 then take that imei and file FIR
Vu
I pray for you
Both are same phones . M34 is sold on Amazon and F34 is sold on Flipkart. I do not know why people are laughing, you can ask them directly.
They are not bad phones for price range of 15-18k. If you looking for phone in budget of 15-18k then get any of these.
redmi phone? sorry but its better lost.. buy some decent phone man.
