Go to Thomascook or western union and enquire. 

Which city? In Bangalore, you can try the smaller forex shops at the end of commercial Street.

 

Other options are prithvi exchange & bookmyforex as suggested. 

 

Inquire at 2-3 places and exchange at the one who gives you the best deal.

 

PS: if I were you, I would keep it without exchanging unless I am in a dire need of cash

Go to anyplace other than banks. Because banks give less amount.

exchange with locals who needs it on real exchange rate. both will get benefits. 

Try bookmyforex once founds rates at par with most local exchnagers

Update: Exchanged my dollars @ 83.96 through a local shop although I was offered the same amount from book my forex. Thanks everyone for suggestions
