I live in UP .
My monthly electricity bill during summer is around 11k ,(3 ac primarily)
Need suggestions on how to select how much capacity of solar system is required..
I am thinking to go with 5KW system
Will it suffice the need
We are currently 5 people household .
Major electricity consumption as said is with 3 ac (2 of them run at the same time always ) and other consumption like 2 refrigerators,2 washing machine , 4 bldc fan and 4/5 led bulbs +1 water cooler..

Electricity Bill comes around at the interval of every 2 months.
Is 11K is for the 2 months or 1 month? If possible, check consumption in Units instead of the Rs.
One month during peak summer..
Check how much penalty are you paying for extra load. It should be in the bill.
They did give us a warning to increase the load while manual checking.
Which ACs are these bro? Is they very old or running 24x7?
This consumption and appliances is not matching.
Get your load tested once if you feel equipments are good and there is some error.
According to this usage, you need 15 KW setup to net your bill.
This is our combined house bill /with people living on rent ..
We have decided to go with a solar panel system for at least with our consumptions.
We are already in the process of having two separate connections..the above stated appliances are with us..
If u have 5kw electricity connection currently .... U can apply for 5kw solar from pm suryodaya website..... U can only apply fr wattage till u have approved currently on your electricity connection... For which u will get 78000 central subsidy... Plus 30000....up govt subsidy.... Total cost for ongrid connection will be between 2.5 to 3 lakh.... And u can deduct the subsidy from final amount.. As u will get that in dbt mode after installation..... Initially u have to invest between 2.5 lakh to 3 lakh.... U can get list of approved vendors in your city from upneda or pmsurya website... U just give them ur aadhar and electricity bill they will do the rest.. U can take quotes from multiple vendors which are approved on pm suryodaya or upneda website
