Hi All,

As nowadays there are lot many options to choose from TVs. Looking to buy in Big Billion Sale.

Need suggession for a 65 inch TV.

I can go for LG/ Samsung if the offer is good.

But don't see much difference in the lower priced models as well VU / TCL etc..

Currently using Samsung 55 inch 3D LED TV that is 8 years old.

Looking for suggessions. Thank you. !

You can check deals at offline stores like reliance, croma.

Just for reference. I was offered samsung 65q70d for 90k after bank discount (7k bank discount). Also got complementary 2 year extended warranty as well.

65 inch tv or projector?

Asking this for myself. I don't want to be interrupted during a power outage by using excess power from inverter.

Still thinking what to install for my upcoming home theater.

If budget is good and ambient lighting csn be properly managed then having a projector has iys own vharms.
If i had the inclination and disposable income.. tgen would have taken the LG or other 'ultra short throw' projevtors.. almost a decade back itself.
even though those might have their limitations, that they can be kept even a feet or two away from the surface to be projected upon.. is a great plus.

I paid a high price for a 75" X90K Sony. It has been absolutely worth it with the audio so good that I didn't need a soundbar.
Go to a local Croma or Reliance Digital or Vijay Sales and check it out. The K might have become an L or M by now since it is meant for the year and K was 2022. If you are going for Sony don't go below the X90. The higher series is the A series which is their OLED and out of budget for most people.

probably the first time EVER that i am.seeing someone say that .. the likes of VU products aren't much different than the ones from chaebols, when it comes to specialist panel size products.
That too, after being a reasonably happy and existing customer and fairly long time user of a similar product from a Korean chaebol.

I had to pinch myself twice.

Since Sony is already discussed and you already are aware of what Samsung is like

can add that.. in those sizes.. whoever uses a Sharp panel.. ought to have a product witj relatively great dynamic range and viewing angles too.

Philips used to be great too, but off late.. I cannot blindly bet on them.

Sharp and Samsung both are OEM suppliers too (of panels) to others.
