Kotak blocked my UPI permanently i escalated to their nodal office i received this mail
Greetings from Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd!
This is with reference to your email dated 25th March 2024 on your banking relationship held with Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.
We would like to offer our deepest apologies for the trouble you had to experience with Kotak Mahindra Bank.
As per check, we regret to inform you that as per our system checks, your UPI channel has been blocked by the monitoring team, due to high UPI transaction and same cannot be unblocked.
Further if you have any concern you can write us back.
Assuring you best services at all times.
So now i need help how do I unblock i will be escalating to their principal nodal officer next if they still don't unblock then i have to wait 30 days and complaint to banking ombudsman does banking ombudsman take UPI block complaint if anyone here knows about banking ombudsman please guide me.

Does that mean your kotak bank cannot be added to any UPI app?
This is something terrifying.

Please move to a different bank. To be frank: you are wasting your time reaching out to the higher authority since they have provided you the reason in written.
Also, I don't think they can block with mere 100 transactions in a month, I do far more than that in a month and never got any such block emails. My average upi transaction with kotak is 200+.
Daily tea: 3 times a day, daily food 2 times a day, paying for friends sutta etc: 1-2 times a day, so many things I cant even remember and I never calculated.

Yea they had frozen my kotak account earlier for Bajaj UPI transfer offers had to provide statement of SBI account to unblock my account and that too branch was not helping had to escalate it to Twitter kotak social media team for getting my account unblocked
now they have permanently blocked my UPI kotak social media team also not helping me they said they cannot help me because rcu team blocked my UPI they can't do anything about it i escalated to nodal office they are not unblocking will try to take this to level 3 principal nodal office if they don't unblock have to take this to banking ombudsman

No need to wait for 30 days. If you are not satisfied with the resolution then simply reach out to RBI. This 30 days waiting period scenario is for the cases when bank doesn't reply/resolve the query in 30 days. But if bank resolves query within 30 days and you don't like it then you can just raise complaint on the same day of resolution. Also, I don't think RBI will be able to help you in this.

Guys my kotak upi has also been unblocked it took me nearly 1 month that's 27 days exactly to get this resolved I had to escalate my issue to highest level 3 principal nodal officer to get my UPI unblocked it took long time in between escalations I was planning to go to rbi ombudsman if my UPI issue was not resolved in 30 days

No issues with P2M transactions. It's numerous P2P transactions that is to blame.
