[Resolved] | Electric bill payment done twice

Today morning i paid Electricity bill (SBPDCL) . Later i got a call from family member that they had also paid it yesterday online.
I have used axis airtel credit card for the payment.
How should i get my money back? Will SBPDCL cancel the 2nd txn? I contacted axis but they say wait for 8 days then call us.

Don't worry, bro. Once I accidentally paid ~₹5,000 for my electricity bill. For the next three months, my bill was ₹0. I guess you could say I had a 'shockingly' low bill, but they sure 'charged' me back eventually!

Nah. It will remain in that account until its consumed in the next month or the month after that. Don't bother asking for refund. You prepaid for the next month's bill.
govt will not pay anything back 😝,they will adjust it in next month bill
