Need help credit card experts [SBI Card]

I applied for 2nd sbi card their cashback card in September that time my application was neither approved nor declined then i contacted them on X but no resolution then mailed PNO he asked me to contact customer service then mailed customer service and today finally my sbi cashback card has been approved.
But my question is for same application no. They hit my cibil twice can i ask them for removal of previous one or this is legit???
