What is difference in smart tv or android tv?
need suggestion for 43 Inch tv in upcoming sale..

Smart refers to its connectivity and having os capabilities . Android is specific variant of os. Just like saying SUV vs Tata harrier.
SUV can refer any vehicle but Tata Harrier is specific.
Samsung may have Tizen os instead of android, but everything would be the same feature wise.

So Samsung, Sony, LG etc have their own OS? Do they make android TV's too?
Am I right in assuming Chinese brands like Redmi, Infinix, TCL etc offer only android TVs?
I hardly ever watch TV and have not been keeping up with the times
