Need a water purifier that does not throw water

So earlier before may 2020, we had a perfectly working aquaguard that we changed due to a misconception and miscommunication.
After that my parents installed a new Aquaguard filter with RO, UV thing and it has an output that throws a good amount of a water. In good condition, it throws water equivalent to a medium size bucket for 1.5 L water jug.
And when the filter is about to change after 6 months it throws away 5-6 buckets of water for 1.5 L water jug!!
It's insane! Especially that when we don't get water from govt water supply line (this happens half of the year) and to see the machine waste so much water and the technician/company just ignoring has reached our limits!!
Now I want a good water purifier that DO NOT waste water like the above mentioned crap. Please share a water purifier model name if anyone knows any 🙏

But those are the only ones in shops. They say that ro, UV filters are normal water purifiers and those that are not, have been discontinued.
Can't visit more hardware shops bcz we have overzealous parking fines and floods for months.
Don't use RO filters and only two sediment filter and uv will work this will work like aquaguard .. no need to buy a new one , .. this time ask your technician to make ur RO into aquaguard..not a big thing just 5 minutes of work
First test the TDS level of the water you get. If its in range of 200 then no need to go for RO Water Purifier. You can by any UV water purifier. But if TDS level is high like 500 or above then you dont have a choice you have to go fro RO+UV filter which will waste water.
