My mother activated the new jio plan @2999 what can i do now?

Hi, 

My mother had a existing plan of Rs. 2999 and i recharged for 2999 to queue the plan. But my mother activated the new plan and now the end date of plan is showing 3rd July. What can i do now? 

last plan end date was someime in March. 

Did i loose around 2k?

You should have bought vouchers instead of queuing recharges. 

Jio customer support should help as this could be a common issue with elderly.

If activated before 2hrs you can cancel it, go to recharge history>select plan>get invoice>cancel plan

isn't there any way to complain to trai? 

it is completely un ethical. the plan is also same so legally they cannot do it.

@InvestPotato How is it unethical when YOUR own mother activated it by herself by opening the app, going into plan section and clicking on it to activate it? Unethical would be current recharge getting cancelled and new one automatically starting.

Yes. Only benefit is 4gb per day 4g data.. if on 5g network data is unlimited anyway

+1. That too voucher can be bought from OPs personal jio account instead of mother jio account so that he can take control of voucher redemption.

Don't Give him wrong Advice, It is unethical on his part, as he will be asking like a beggar to customer care, Recharge cannot be reversed, So he will be asking charity from customer care as a refund,, Aur Ambani uske french fries banaayega,,😂 shaadi mein batwaayega,..

You now have 4Gb par day and unlimited 5G. Make it hotspot and ty selling data to neighbours like local ISP.

How were advanced recharge was activated in the first place? Using myjio app? I shall remove that app (if at all installed) from my mothers mobile then.

Yeah, there is option to manually activate the upcoming plan and it starts immediately if that option is selected.

Best to delete my jio app when not in use. Prefer website for checking information.
