My mother had a existing plan of Rs. 2999 and i recharged for 2999 to queue the plan. But my mother activated the new plan and now the end date of plan is showing 3rd July. What can i do now?
last plan end date was someime in March.
Did i loose around 2k?

it is completely un ethical. the plan is also same so legally they cannot do it.
You should have bought vouchers instead of queuing recharges.
Jio customer support should help as this could be a common issue with elderly.
+1. That too voucher can be bought from OPs personal jio account instead of mother jio account so that he can take control of voucher redemption.
When did she activate the plan
If activated before 2hrs you can cancel it, go to recharge history>select plan>get invoice>cancel plan
Try customer care for some resolution or recharge again ...
Now only enjoy 4GB per day 4G data till March with unlimited 5G Data.
Fight with customer care till your last breath. Next time, mention it before doing anything on your mother's behalf😃

How were advanced recharge was activated in the first place? Using myjio app? I shall remove that app (if at all installed) from my mothers mobile then.
Yeah, there is option to manually activate the upcoming plan and it starts immediately if that option is selected.
Best to delete my jio app when not in use. Prefer website for checking information.
