As we know the stock market is too high, is this a good time to invest a lumpsum amount in mf now or should I wait for some time??

depends on your goals (if any), objectives.
the total time one remains invested.. matters more than the timing.
without knowing your goals, objectives.. hard to give a closed-ended (yes/no) answer.
also, please do note that those look for less risky asset class, also allocate funds to debt or debt oriented mutual fund schemes, FMPs.

Invest lumpsum in debt fund and start STP from debt to equity (STP period 2-3 years).

Don't wait, start SIP, again depends on the total amount you want to invest. If it's big create FDs of sip amount to mature every month so you keep earning interest
