Today I recieved this message on my MTNL Trump number:

Welcome to Maharashtra BSNL Network. Have a pleasant stay.

does that means now It's BSNL network and need to use BSNL recharge?

No. they are not.

In old days too, if Orange number from Bombay circle was taken outside and it latched on to Idea, similar message would be shown.

MTNL on paper, still is a different company.

Just like Big Bazaar operations in its last month's were practically driven by Reliance

in case of MTNL too, BSNL got tasked to take care of the core ops.
