MrBeast is going to overtake T-series to become the most subscribed YouTube channel in just a few hours (https://www[dot]youtube[dot]com/watch?v=rEpRrdxDZ3I). The gap is around 500k and MrBeast is gaining over 200k subscriber per hour at this moment. MrBeast has gained over 1.3M subscriber in the past 24 hours, which is insane!!! People all around the globe are happy as an individual content creator is winning over a corporation. Some are happy as MrBeast is going to take revenge against T-series during 'Pewdiepie vs T-series' battle (which Pewdiepie lost in 2019, MrBeast was the 'army general' of the '9 year olds' at that time). Interestingly, Indians are also supporting MrBeast in this battle as everyone is fed up with T-series's copyright claims, though T-series tried to gain subscribers from India in the name of 'patriotism'. But the video from T-series got 36k dislikes and 8.3k likes and complete backlash from fellow Indians (check comments of the video https://www[dot]youtube[dot]com/watch?v=TqLnKj0-xyw&t=9s). Personally I support MrBeast, though haven't subscribed any of the channels.

I don't give 2 bits of hoots to MrBeast. Never watched his videos, except a clipped instance once, so don't even care. In some Indian youtuber's video, I heard MrBeast gives away a lot of free money/products to people, probably that would explain his popularity. But some people here still might be liking his content, vello ki koi kami nahi puri duniya mein. And about that one clipped video I saw of him when this whole Mr Beast vs T-Series so called top rank war started, I did hear him mocking India about our population. I got this confused, it was PewDiePie who mocked India, when T-Series left him behind in terms of no. of subscribers. But given that MrBeast is supporting PewDiePie, infact, after leaving T-Series behind today, MrBeast commented that he took revenge for PewDiePie after 6years. They're just birds of same feather.
On the other hand, T-Series have tens of songs I cherish a lot. After hearing some of my favorite ones, I become happy & my mood gets better.
Btw, people who think this is one guy vs a corporation, they've got it completely wrong on this one. T-Series is mainly a music channel, not like our typical multinational corporations that many people hate. Though the person running it is indeed a music mafia. But imagine, if T-Series starts giving away free money/freebies everyday to its subscribers, MrBeast would need an extra life to beat T-Series then lol. Power of free freebies is insane, people are ready to elect govts based on this, toh ek youtube channel kya cheez hai!

Totally agree with you. T-series makes real original content. I love many of the songs they have published till date. The youtubers like Mr Beast simply reuse/remix/repurpose the original content into useless stuff especially cringe videos and do giveaways to garner attention.

MrBeast aka Jimmy seems to be a nice guy, a smart Youtuber who understood what what kind of content can grab attention of majority of the YouTube audience . And T-Series needs no introduction. Both are private entities. None of their content show up in my YouTube feed regularly, infact it happens rarely. But if you look at their back story you'd find many interesting things to learn from.
If you go back few years back same drama happened. Back then it was T-Series vs PewDiePie.
PS: If anyone Reeeeeally supports T-Series please create dozens of new YouTube accounts every hour and subscribe to them.

Pewdiepie is the main reason racist memes against indians became popular. He unnecessarily conflated t series with india. It might not be his intention but he is responsibe for it. His followers are mostly 12 yr olds. He should've known better. I think he just saw an opportunity to get more famous and he patheticly took it.
