if it were me i would watch anything that is trending:) for daily news lifestyle instead of old movies , to keep things in relevancy
so i would say watch any movies that are recent (because it will have latest economic activity mentioned inside the movie) as that will help you get news of latest trend while enjoying entertainment as well:)
pick any genre you personally enjoy:) because there is no such thing as "watch at least once" MOVIES AND DOCUMENTARIES ARE JUST ENTERTAINMENT and I am trying to get news out of it as well:) with trends:)
so any movies is fine:) nothing as 'ATLEAST ONCE IN LIFE" its just entertainment:) PICK YOUR OWN INTEREST AND WATCH THE GENRE
