Motorola 50 Fusion has lots of bugs & issues :(

Hi Guys,

I have been waiting for this BBD sale for a long time to buy the best camera phone. I am a camera person who loves clicking professional pictures in manual mode.

My budget was ₹20k, I narrowed down the Motorola EDGE 50 FUSION, and EDGE 50. I am getting FUSION 256/12 for ₹21k with all the coupons. Fusion has  the flagship level cameras.

But After going thru deep research and review on Flipkart, Lenovo community forum and by some users on YouTube. I felt these 50 series phones are the worst (except for the camera).

I have read these feedback -
- Heating issue while using any app like instagram
- Battery draining faster
- Slow charging (with fast charger)
- The power button came off within a month
- Camera app lags, and it opens after 3-4 seconds, switching modes takes 3-4 seconds.
- More than 10 min of usage of the camera makes the mobile hot.
- Some users got Dust and Fog in the camera lens.
- Call drop issues, WhatsApp call mic issues.
- No timely update to resolve these issues.
- Bad reputation of Service Centers

How are these phones going to survive more than 2 years with such issues ?

They are features offered by moto phones. Don't call them issues. You will only trigger the moto fanboys!!

Motorola is a fraudulent company. I purchased the Moto G40 Fusion, which has a known ghost touch issue that has been reported by many users. Despite this, Motorola has ignored all complaints. They sold defective handsets and failed to address or acknowledge the problems faced by their customers.

You are lucky !! How much screen time do you get ? Did you face any camera lag issues while opening the app & switching modes under the camera app.

A couple of years ago I was moving away from DSLR and was looking for a good camera phone in midrange and settled on Redmi Note 10 Pro. The issues that I heard were almost exactly the same - overheating, battery, lags etc. I got it nevertheless, love the cameras, and still works like a charm. Some of these youtubers over exaggerate the issues to create more views. Or they compare the performance of a midrange phone to the performance of a flagship. Good luck in your quest! 👍🏼

Motorola Everything is now owned by some ch1ne5e! Cant bypass China when it comes to any tech whatsoever unfortunately.

The original Motorola was never known for long lasting or quality anyway. Their early flip phones in the US were designed to last exactly 2 years(time of contract) so that customers can keep upgrading - the true American model of economy. They were innovative and held a lot of patents that Lenovo acquired them for.

Personally I haven't faced any issue with my moto g52 (except the camera is not that much usage so I can't say about that) in the last 2.5 years

Guys,  I bought a Samsung M35 for my wife for ₹13.5k (128/6). It's an amazing device, value for money. It looks premium on the back side, and camera quality can beat my old Redmi Note10 Pro. It's a little bit heavier but after using it for 2 days, I am used to it, now I am not feeling it's heavy.

I have never used a samsung device before, but One UI is really buttery smooth than MIUI.
