Of this country, middle class is the backbone.

Middle class pays for the privileges, welfare schemes for the poor whereas they don't get such privileges.

Middle class pays a significant amount of their income as taxes but don't get such benefits in the form of good govt hospitals, schools, roads.

Poor people, people in agriculture don't pay tax whereas rich people live luxurious life even after paying hefty taxes.

Middle class forms a significant majority in this country but still sandwiched between poor and rich.

Without middle class, Bharat won't be developed.

Rich people do know the loopholes in the system and take advantage of them.

Example: You will be amazed to know how many of them are "farmers" in record just for sale of benefits

Lot of our MPs and MLAs claim to have farming income (in crores) and continue to cheat the system that they have designed for their convenience

and how many of these (so called) middle class pay direct tax?

yes the rich and the ultra rich leech on others or the nation as a whole.

but the others are no saints either.

the rich horde wealth.. that is the basic formula for becoming rich.
but outside of the unorganised sector, it is the rich who also provide jobs or other economic impetus.

i am not pro-rich or anti-others.
it is just that we love to glamourise even perceived (unreal) lacunae.
