Mentally harassed by their horrendous service

I ordered 2 pcs of furniture worth 15k. After delivery the packaged and un-assembled products are lying in my house & no one has come to assemble them after repeated calls and emails everyday! Everyday their customer service keeps telling that someone will come today but no one does. The so called “account manager” is never available on call and has never replied to even 1 email of mine. The customer service has only 1 pre-programmed answer- “we will look into it”

Pathetic service. If they are taking so much time to assemble product God knows how long they will take to refund my money. Absolutely bad service. Online shopping should be hassle free & convenient but I am so harassed by their bad service. I have to keep calling & emailing & following up. Their ads on tv are very misleading. My advice is don’t buy from pepperfry but if you are hell bent on wasting your money then order something of low value first to try. This is a big headache. I order max stuff from e-commerce site but have never encountered anything so bad as pepperfry.

Some points:
1. You can’t return the product till it’s delivered. And delivery can take upto 1 month or may not be delivered at all.
2.You have to pay by credit/debit card so your money is stuck too coz unless you return the product, you cant ask for refund
3.The product, if and when delivered, will be un assembled, like wood planks in packets.
4.You have to keep calling and emailing multiple times a day (with no luck) for them to send a person to assemble.
5.Customer care will keep saying that someone is coming in 30 mins, 4 times a day when you call. They did this to me for 2 days straight.
6.Finally after weeks of having un-assembled product, you will either try to assemble using your own money or return it.
7.Returning the product is another big headache. The ads on tv are false.
8.Refund of your money will take months and you will have to keep calling & emailing through out so that you get your refund. which if you are lucky, you may get.

This has been a very tough and mentally tiring experience for me. AVOID this company. You will only waste your time & your money. And by time I don’t mean 1/2 weeks rather months will be wasted.
