MacBook M1 vs M2 – Which One for Coding?

Hi Guys,
I'm planning to buy a MacBook for coding purpose, and there are two deals:
- MacBook Air M2 (8GB/256GB) – ₹69,900
- MacBook Air M1 (8GB/256GB) – ₹59,900
Is the M2 worth the extra ₹10,000, or should I go with the M1? Which one offers the best value?

I would suggest to look for 16gb minimum RAM. 8GB RAM will be filled very quickly in moderate to heavy usage. M1 performance is good enough for web development. You can go for M2 if you want the notch display and slightly faster performance.
