Today I got a call from ICICI bank in which the executive told me that I have pre approved ICICI Rubyx Credit Card offer and limit will be shared with my existing Coral & Amazon Pay cc.
The agent told me that CC will be applied on call itaelf for which I have to confirm my full name, address, pincode etc..
But the question is how do we verify that its pre approved & ltf. Is there any way that I can check if it is genuine or marketing.
PS i am already holding Coral & az pay cc.

99% of these calls are for affiliate commission purpose.they say whatever they can to make u apply the card.Don't fall to the trap.Always apply through online channels

Embarassingly, I fell for that trap once and ended up getting a Kotak Zen that was promised as LTF. They made it LTF only when I raised a cancellation request.
The agent will even give you their full name and employee ID as if you have a way to validate that from the bank's HR system. I have seen agents sending a photo of their ID card on WhatsApp. With full videos being deepfake nowadays what's in an image of an ID card 😜
