Most of them paying the extra charge after paying the bill amount.

Or anyone made complaints and no more paying charges, share your stories here.

What’s your thoughts on this issue.

And I’m sharing my story here.

——————————————————————————-

I was okay with that 50 rupees extra charges before this incident but not now.

I have made online payment for my indane gas on 30 oct, there’s no stock with the distributor for 2 week’s and they have delivered it on 11 nov . The issue over here was my parents have paid them total bill amount in cash on 11 nov at time of delivery and i was not at home. But yesterday when our gas emptied i got to know about this . I have shared my issue with the person at the gas agency and the delivery guy.

No clear response from agency and delivery boy refusing to pay money back by saying that it was already 30 days and daily I’ll deliver huge no of cylinders and i don’t remember taking money from your parents.

There was my mistake too here , so i let go the double money we paid .

After cylinder delivery you will receive an SMS message to the mobile number linked to your lpg connection. In that message there will be a link to submit the feedback of the refill received. the feedback form also has an option called “Refill price charged as per cash memo? YES/NO”. The feedback you give may help your complaint to be solved quickly.

Complaint to the com0any directly , and give all details . Find out the contact details of the gas company ( not agency ) and they will do the enquiry.

I had did the same with HP gas way back .

My issue was forcefully  asking for deepawali bakshis as per his desire or else wont deliver cylinder

He can’t charge any extra money. You only pay amount shown in receipt

They do and for many forcefully have seen them asking 50-100 like they own it specially from women.
Usually they keep the change like if bill is 580 they will keep 600 if given exact money then they ask for it (as now we get the amount message even if booked via Ivr).
I have taken cylinder 2-3 times but I never gave a penny extra my parents used to give and that’s what he used to say.
Switched to pipeline few years back these agencies are struggling now since people are transitioning to pipeline.

Also the delivered cylinder is never the weight we pay for they steal the gas from it also.

this happens because of miscommunication (delivery boys might do it deliberately and pretend they don’t know anything) …we need to aware our family members (who collects the cylinder at home) abt the amount shown in receipt…this has happened with me too 1-2 times and luckily i got to kno on next day of delivery … so i contacted the dealer and got the amount back (which parents had paid to delivery boy)…

Delivery guy demanding delivery charge 30 negotiating and paying 20.

I agree that they get paid monthly but they’re doing lot of hardwork to carry that weight on shoulders to deliver. Sometimes giving 20-30 is ok for their efforts. Be kind:)

Never happened to me. At the time delivery boys giving the cylinder, ask them to give the receipt first. The amount is clearly written there how much you paid or you’ve to paid. If they charge extra amount which is not there in receipt then complaint it to the gas booking company CC or official website.

We do get a message when we pay online as confirmation for payment received but never given a feedback link like yours. Is this company related?

I stay in ground floor.. so I don’t pay any extra.. May be it varies if I stay in other floors..

Forget paying extra to these exploiters, I charge them instead. Here agency is near me. So I collect from there and pay in cash. Don’t even pay delivery charges. So always ask them to deduct delivery charges from my booking or else I will complain and they need to give back. So the owner here charges me 30 less.

I have faced situations where I get the delivery successful sms.. but it’s not delivered actually..
Need to follow up with agency and they just say.. we’ll enquire and get it delivered the next day..
Even after the OTP based delivery practice..the delivery guys find some loopholes..
I live in ground floor, just 10 feet away from the street..and for getting the cylinder for this distance…those guys demand (not request) 30 or 40₹..
And I give 20 to 30 everytime..
In most of the instances.. there’s an understanding between agencies and delivery guys..
Some delivery guys even say that they rely only on these tips as agencies reduce the wages and ask them to collect extra from customers..

Some guys even threaten that cylinder will not be delivered if the extra amount is not paid..only on these instances I raise complaint with agency about the rude behaviour/reply of delivery guys..

My 2 cents on this :

LPG delivery person asking for some money for delivering it at doorstep is fine. You may ask and I may give Rs. 20/30 or I may refuse, it’s fine till here.

But asking as if it’s your right is problem at company level, be it HP Gas, Bharatgas or Indane Gas for that matter. You’re getting your salary and this hafta vasooli behavior is what pisses me off. Also, the person working for the gas agency knew all this beforehand, about the workload and all. See, I might sound very rude here but the fact that they know their role plus giving some extra money should be done in a polite manner and not like dada/gansters.

Even DTDC delivery person did the same with me but I refused him for 2 times and eventually at 3rd visit from the same guy, gave him some money with an advice that don’t make it a habit. Either try to live with what you have or work hard to get what you want.

Few jerks actually would ask money even when it’s written prepaid – one was a amazon delivery guy (he was probably kicked out or given a different route) and the other was a lpg guy.
Your case is tricky. And unless there’s cctv proof then there’s no evidence that he actually took the money

I pay only Rs10 extra at a time of delivry.

Delivery guy told me he got only Rs4000 monthly salary from HP gas agency.

I always paid online.

Always paying Rs.10 only extra and Paying the bills prepaid from the day it got introduced (Nearly 4 years). So there is no miscommunication among family members.

When Cylinder comes, Family members will share the OTP and Give Rs.10. That is the Routine for us (At least for my home).

this happened to me 3-4 years back when i used to pay cylinder amount in cash they charged around 5-10 rs extra but that was ok .
after that when we shifted to online booking , they never charge /ask for anything extra + most of the times they deliver cylinder on very next day laughing which was not in the case of cash as they took 3-4 days
thanks to digital payments grinning

People around here give even 50rs extra tip living in the ground floor. I’ve never given over 30rs and that was when we lived on the first floor.

Now we only give 10-20rs extra since we are living on the ground floor. The delivery guy tried to ask for more but I shut him down saying I’ll only pick up the cylinder from your outlet and then your delivery charges will be refunded to me. Started paying online from last year and never paid more than 10rs extra. Stop encouraging obscene tips. All you’re doing is paying for their biryani and kabab in the evening.

This was a tasteless comment. What kind of coolies and labourers have the luxury to buy kebabs, biryani and burgers??
Your family won’t even last a month with a measely Rs 2000 pm income, let alone ordering unnecessary hotel foods.
P.S. Rs 2000 is the monthly wage for the cylinder delivery people and from that is also cut if they get sick and take a leave.
