Why godi media only covers petrol hike of 50 paise, is this is what called as damage control?

I am with Govt (BJP or Congi) whenever price increased if really needed. why people need everythig free or subsidised. some or other way people need to pay it. If govt give subsidy here, need to increase tax somewhere.
People need good roads, good infrastrcuture but free or without paying tax? just for price hike reason people give vote to other party.
After Covid, i see Car price hiked but sales increased, price increased in restarant but there is long waiting outside restaurant.
I saw that to take 5kg free grain, people going in Car.
burden is on some people only because less number of people are paying direct taxes.
Increasing price petrol/Lpg is good because poor people using it less and it affects less on them.

Its been so long since the last hike. Jaldi se election khatam ho. Mazza aa raha tha daily hikes dekh ke. Hike ke fayde bhi nahi ginwa raha koi. Jaldi se election khatam ho, aur 1000 ki bulandi touch ho jaye.
