Wait for offer to renew, as it will be ended on 31 Mar 2024. Then, take decision accordingly.
yup , I'll apply next month only after confirmation.
Getting required info beforehand .
Check this out (charges may have been revised since this post)
It is not worth most people's time to get a new savings account only to save Rs 100 on a >Rs 500 bill payment per month. You also never know how that offer is going to last though some version of it has been going on for at least a couple of years.
You get premium lounge access too
wait till April 2024 and if the offer continues, the best ways I see are as follows :
Bank of Baroda Lite Savings A/C ... combine virtual and physical DC at NIL cost if you maintain required MAB ... currently onboarding on bob world is on hold, so, virtual DC won't be possible until the ban lifts
IDFC First Bank provides a sticker based FIRSTap RuPay Platinum DC at one-time fee of Rs. 99 + GST. You can open 10k MAB account variant or get request for this card if you already have an account.
These 2 are the cheapest ones I hold. Even DBS Bank charges low as of now (Rs. 150 + GST).
Is the virtual card free without maintaining qab?
NSDL Jifffy - zero bal a/c with virtual card. consolidated charges Rs. 5 + GST/ mth
Offer khatm nahi hoga.m downhrade ho jayega.. aisa lag raha..31 march le baad..maybe 10%
Update :
Now that offer is extended:
please add anymore that u know.
I found below no/low fees ones which offer rupay platinum dc.
1) Bob lite saving account ( no fees if we maintain 3k/2k mab ).
2) Nsdl jiffy zero balance ( 5 rs + gst per month )
3) Au digital saving zero balance account ( 150 + gst per year )
4) Idfc firstap ( one time fees 99 + gst ).
I got the first 3 recently, You can ask any queries on those.
Thinking of getting idfc. need to check on mab etc.
Any other low cost options ?
