Upcoming Changes to ICICI Bank Debit Card Lounge Access

Starting from October 1, 2024, ICICI Bank will offer two complimentary airport lounge access passes each quarter to debit cardholders.

To qualify, one must spend a minimum of ₹10,000 in the preceding calendar quarter. For instance, to enjoy lounge access during the October-December 2024 quarter, your total eligible spending must be ₹10,000 or more during the July-September 2024 quarter. This pattern will continue for subsequent quarters.

Only certain types of transactions will count towards this spending requirement. E-commerce and POS (Point of Sale) transactions are eligible, while ATM transactions and cash withdrawals will not be considered.

This means that you need to focus on retail and online purchases to qualify for the lounge access benefit.

I've couple of cards with lounge access, can we get lounge access for family also suppose if I've 5 cards with lounge access all in my name.. did anyone try this.

Most of these cards have a spend limitation to get lounge access, is there an easy way to verify if certain card on certain date is eligible for a lounge access or not.
