Mercury BP machines are mostly obsolete. The best is to go with an aneroid BP machine (which I use). A digital BP machine will give an error approximately 10% and you need to buy a new machine once per year (if used everyday), lifetime is very
bad, also you will not be able to detect if the readings are wrong or not untill it started showing illogical values. Buying an aneroid BP machine with a stethoscope, will cost around 2-2.2k.
I have brought aneroid BP machine from KR Lynch (Kolutola More, Central avenue, opposite of tropical medicine). Brand: Revival stethoscope and Diamond BP monitor. Works perfect even after 5 years.
