I have covered Most of the Credit Cards from All Major Banks , there are more cards though which can be added to the list from many PSU bank but they don’t have regular online or offline offers , If you feel some card is missed out and should be part of the list please do let me know in comments below and I will try updating the List.
* HDFC
One of the Best Bank and biggest Market Share in terms of Credit Cards HDFC is quite Notorious in issuing Multiple Credit Cards to a User , In my Knowledge HDFC doesn’t issue Multiple Credit Cards to a User , though there are some guys who did managed to get 2 variants of Credit Cards from HDFC ( Refer this post by @BlueFlash on How to Get 2 Premium Cards from HDFC – https://www.desidime.com/discussions/list-of-mu... ) , and another post here ( Credit – @vimalbpatel82 , https://www.desidime.com/discussions/how-many-c...) , second point is even If you get your hands on any of their Credit Cards and request for AddOn Credit Card they will issue AddOn Cards with Same card numbers as the primary card, which is good from Banks perspective but not from a users perspective, HDFC issues upto 3 Addon Credit Cards On a Primary Card and there are no charges for the AddOn Cards. So a User can have Maximum of 4 Credit cards ( Including AddOn Cards ) from HDFC Bank. 3rd point is regarding how to get an HDFC card , HDFC does fairly well in issuing Credit cards to user if you have a savings or salary account with them the process becomes much easier and you may also get preapproved credit card offer from them. The cards will not be LTF initially and can be converted into LTF cards easily by adding 2 Smartpay billers from your Credit card for at least 6 Months or making 12 Transactions of Rs.500 and above in 3 Months and Once converted to LTF to keep your LTF status active you just need to make a purchase of Rs.1 or more in 6 Months. After Lifting of RBI ban from HDFC they are providing LTF Credit Cards to users without any criteria so grab before they revert the offer and change it to previous criteria
One of the premium HDFC Credit Card which is Diners Black is easier to get if you are an Alumni of Any premier Institute like , IIT’s NIT’s etc. and on top of that they will get that card as LTF , yes you heard it right. Further HDFC issues Credit Cards to normal users on LTF basis too on meeting some spend conditions within first 90 Days , which holds true for Diners Black too.
In case you have a credit limit of 10L+ on your existing Diners Black Credit Card, you can get the limit split into 2 Credit cards via your RM, this is how many people have both Infinia and DCB, you can tell that the Diners network is limiting your spends, so you want to get it split with Infinia. Do note that just CL of 10L won’t suffice, your actual spends needs to be decently high to get qualified for the second card.( Credit – @BlueFlash ) . HDFC updated and clearly mentioned the conditions on their website to make the Credit Card LTF or Criteria for Annual Fee Waiver here – https://www.hdfcbank.com/personal/pay/cards/cre... ( Credits – @HiDEaL – -https://www.desidime.com/discussions/hdfc-diner... )
* SBI
The 2nd largest Credit card issuer in India whose executives will bother you whenever you are entering or exiting a Mall or a Metro Station . SBI can issue 3 card variants to the same user and unlike HDFC the Addon Cards will have different card numbers , but SBI generally don’t give LTF cards to a user , though there are some exceptions for few customers who took SBI credit cards around 6-7 Years back and got them as LTF , further I heard SBI provided LTF cards to employees of Another Bank Last year , so exceptions are always there. Coming back to AddOn cards a user can have 2 Addon Card on Each Primary Credit Card in SBI , considering SBI issues AddOn Cards for each card variant a user can have 3 Cards for each variant and for 3 variants can hold a total of 9 Cards from SBI , the Addon Cards from SBI are also provided without any Charges. The best bang for Buck Cards from my experience is SBI are Simply Click which gives you Rs.2000 Cleartrip Voucher on Spend of 1 Lakh and same voucher again on spend of 2 Lakh so total 4000 Cleartrip voucher on Spend of 2 Lakh on top of Normal rewards points. Another 2 Cards which you can consider as Free from SBI are FBB Card and Spar Card , as on Payment of the Card fees you will get Points worth Rs.500 on both the cards every year and not just first year like other Credit cards
* AXIS
Axis bank also has a fair share of Indian Credit card business , they can Issue 4 Different Credit Cards to a User (1 premium and 3 retail , Credits-@luciferous ), Axis Bank issues All its cards on Both LTF and paid basis , but like all other banks getting LTF cards from a bank are always tricky. Recently they issued Flipkart Axis Card LTF to many users which was a paid card. And 1 year back they also had an offer to provide MyZone and Neo as LTF cards to users , So it totally depends on Luck or Timing or Your Relationship with the bank which can help you to get a Credit card on LTF basis. Earlier Axis used to issue FD based card without any annual fees , the lien of the FD card will be removed gradually after 9-12 Months and the cards becomes LTF , but this facility is no more valid as Axis Started charging Rs.500 as annual fees even for FD based card . Axis LIC Credit Cards are offered as LTF for any LIC policy holder (variant depends on your policy premium value or ITR/Salary), need to be applied directly from LIC office/agent and not via Axis bank. Coming to Add on Cards , you can get 4 Addon Cards on a Primary Credit Card. So a person holding 4 Variants of Credit Card from Axis can have a Whopping 20 Credit Cards (Including the AddOn Card) from Axis Bank.
Axis Ace is One of the Best Credit Card offering by Axis as it gives Flat 5% CB for Bill Payments and 2% CB on all other spends , Online or Offline , One must have it even if it is paid , though I am waiting for the time when I can get it as LTF
* BOB (Bank of Baroda)
I never heard of LTF CC from BOB , but they joined the wagon of other Banks to bank on the growing Millenia population in India and right now BOB is running an Offer for LTF credit card for first time ever. As far as I am aware BOB issues Only 1 card variant to its users and if you hold any variant and are looking for another variant you need to close your present card and apply for a new one or get your present card upgraded. A user can have up to 3 Addon Cards from BOB , so the Maximum number of Cards you can hold from BOB comes to 4. I Feel BOB Eterna is the Best card in BOB’s portfolio but comes with a hefty fees of 2500 + gst and after recent reward points value degradation in the BOB CC portfolio ( Some Users Claimed to Get BOB Eterna on LTF basis with an Annual Salary Criteria of 30 LPA in the BOB CC offer of 2021/2022 , visit here for details - https://www.desidime.com/deals/bank-of-baroda-l...;, most of there cards are right now standing on the same platform in terms of rewards.
* ICICI
ICICI provides Visa platinum version as LTF to any salaried person without any hassle and user can have multiple cards as much as 3 (I saw) and Amazon Pay LTF . Few people have hard time to get and few got very easily. I have seen People getting even the most premium Credit Cards from ICICI on LTF basis like Saphiro , Coral and Rubyx. , though the rewards points are one of the Worst in ICICI . You can have 3 Add On Cards from ICICI on each Primary Cards , Another Interesting fact to know here is that the Rubyx and Saphiro card allows you to hold 2 Variants, One from Amex and Another from Visa or MasterCard , Its a special offering and gives you freedom to hold 2 Variants of Same Card on Multiple payment network. However I am not sure if they issue Addon Cards for the Amazon Pay Credit Card , So a person can hold a total of 12 Credit Cards from ICICI for normal cards and Probably if he/she is holding ICICI Rubyx or Saphiro and are able to get AddOn Cards on Both Variants the Number tally may rise upto 16 Cards
Credits @BlueFlash – ICICI MMT CC (platinum/signature) are pretty much LTF cards, you just need to pay a joining fees, no annual fees; much like any IndusInd CCs , also you need to pay some fees for the the ICICI MMT AddOn Credit Cards .
If you are interested to take ICICI Amazon Pay Card , but the card is not deliverable to your location then take ICICI Visa Platinum credit card first and after 3-6 months apply for Amazon Pay ICICI card from your Amazon account or you can also try upgrading your Visa Platinum Card to Amazon ICICI via customer care.
* Amex (American Express)
Amex has a unique and a beautiful concept of “companion” cards; You hold a payable Gold charge card, you get a free MRCC which stays LTF untill you hold your Gold card; The gold card in this case acts like a parent card, the mrcc like a child card; similar thing for any pair, you only pay for the higher variant, the lesser variant becomes LTF ( Credits @BlueFlash ). Amex allows 2 free AddOn cards for Gold Charge and MRCC and 4 for Platinum Charge Card only as per their website, though some users hold 3 AddOn Cards for MRCC without paying additional fees ( Credits – https://www.desidime.com/discussions/list-of-mu...). If you still need more AddOn cards INR.1500 fee needs to be paid for each additional AddOn card ( The fees has to be paid on yearly basis as confirmed by some user , please discuss with Customer care before taking paid Add On cards from Amex). That means there is no Limit on the Card Variants and number of AddOn Cards a user can take from Amex but the cards can only be issued to spouse, Studying sibling over 18 years, Parents and Dependent kids over 18 years (Credits – @arorasid ), we can conclude that if you have a big family and are ready to pay fees for any Card from Amex and need Addon for all family members there is no restriction imposed.
Amex came up with offers of LTF MRCC Credit card for Corporate Salaried Employees with ITR of 5 lakh in the Year 2016 and with ITR of 12 Lakh or more in the Year 2017 , 2018 , 2019 . Many Users Have received MRCC under this offer on LTF basis.
If you are not getting Amex Card on LTF Basis , I strongly suggest to not apply for this card directly on Amex Website , always use Referral Link of Existing Amex Users. Bcoz if you apply for the card directly you will need to pay Annual Fees of Rs.4500 + GST = Rs.5310 for MRCC card if you dont meet the Spend Based Fee Waiver Criteria , however if you apply via Referral Link the Annual Fees comes dont to 1/3 which comes to Rs.1500 + GST = Rs.1770 and I am not joking you can try and see for yourself ( Though this referral benefit option is only available to the Card Equivalent to and above MRCC and not for the Smartearn) . For Other Card variants there is similar reduction in Annaul Fees on Applying Via Referral Link which Further depends on the Credit Card Variant of the Person who is referring you and the Credit Card Variant you Apply for , Its Quite tricky with Amex
* SC (Standard Chartered)
First bank to launch the LTF concept around 7-8 Years back when the Online shopping was sowing its seeds in India was SC, they provided LTF CC to many users and showered Online Shoppers with Loads of offers, their cards portfolio was very big then, but today its painful to say that SC has lost its shine in the Credit card segment and they have chopped down the number of Credit cards they had to offer to only 4-5 and Due to Mastercard bank its limited to only 3 Cards right now. Further SC stopped offering LTF cards to its users , though they may offer you fee waiver at the time of Annual card charge payment. Presently the DigiSmart Credit Card which is charged on a Monthly basis is very good , it doesnt offer you any reward points but offers best discount on Myntra (20% upto 750 ) , Ola Cashback (15% Upto 600) , Glofers 10% flat ( Upto 1000 ) and some other benefits . Apart from that their Super Value Titanium and Ultimate Credit cards are one of Industries Best Credit cards in terms of Reward points giving as high as 5% Cashback on all utilities , Bill and Fuel payments.
Coming to Addon Cards , saying from personal experience its pain in A** , you just get application number and their are no follow ups from the SC team on that , probably they are also planning to wind up their business from India like Citi Bank in coming years.
* Citi Bank
You can hold upto 3 cards afaik, 1 will be the normal one, the other 2 will be a co-branded like iocl/paytm/ikea/shoppers. Getting a Citi card is tough job for anyone already holding 3-4 cards or more. Anyways Citi is gonna hand over it’s retail business in India soon. ( Credits – @BlueFlash )
CITI doesn’t provide LTF cards normally , though if you hold a salary account with them, Citi can provides a complimentary LTF Credit Card , You will get option to select from CITI Reward , CITI IOCL and 2 more cards at the time of account opening . Apart from this Citi May provide a Credit Card to Users on LTF basis depending on the offer running as I personally know someone who got Citi IOCL card on LTF basis via agent 2 Year back.
* Indusind
Indusind provided its basic cards on LTF basis to all Users depending on the CIBIL , their premium cards comes with a One time Joining fees only and no annual fees. But they are regularly bringing offers on 3rd Party Websites like BankBazaar and PaisaBazaar offering their Premium Cards Like Pinnacle , Signature Legend and Iconia Credit Card without paying any kind of Joining Fees making the Card as LTF , however if you contact Indusind executives directly they will blindly deny the fact , Right now the offer is Running for Legend Signature Card on PaisaBazaar however you will only get option to apply for the same if after entering the Details It comes as Preapproved for You.
Just like HDFC, Indusind too allows Only 1 Credit card in general , rare cases of holding 2 Credit Cards from Indusind also exists, especially for people holding Iconia Amex, since they get the 2nd one mentioning low acceptance rate of Amex as a reason. Also Users holding Amex Iconia get a complimentary Companion or Child card which will run on Visa Network, just like the users of ICICI Rubyx or Saphiro because of Low acceptance rate of Amex.
( Credits – @BlueFlash , @beastboy [Me] )
Indusind having unique feature of LTF by coughing up some fee initially. The joining fee is reimbursed in the form of amazon gift vouchers so what you loose is just the GST component on that joining fees. Since, it’s a fee for whole life, we can easily recover it so everyone must possess the Indusind Pinnacle card. (Credits – @narayana1dd249)
Additional benefit of Indusind Pinnacle card is that you get 1 Primary Zero balance Indusind Exclusive savings account with LTF Debit card and 6 Complimentary account with same benefits as the Primary account for your Family members. ( https://www.indusind.com/in/en/personal/account... )
You can think of choosing between Indusind Signature and Indusin Pinnacle depending on the fact that Indusind Signature Legend card gives 2% Cashback or Rewards (On weekends) even for wallet loads and Pinnacle gives only 1.5% or 0.7% on Wallet loads (although it comes under online spends category.) Additionally, if we spend 6L in a calendar year using the Legend we get 4000 points (Rs.4000/-) so that’s an additional 0.66% on top of 2%. The only catch here is all your spends need to be over the weekend which could be quite a hassle. (Credits – @Vishwa308 – https://www.desidime.com/discussions/list-of-mu... )
* RBL
RBL Bank too allows Multiple Credit Cards to same User ( Credit @soccergiants ) , but their rewards rates are not that Good , but recently some users have claimed to get good recharge deals on their reward platform using the rewards accumulated , I personally felt Popcorn Credit Card to be best offering from them as it gives you Flat Rs.25 CB on spend of 2500 apart from the Reward points. Many Users Got their Shoperite / Titanium Reward etc. Credit Cards as Preapproved and LTF on the basis of savings account and without it too ( I Got ) or via offers from CreditMantri or Bankbazaar website , Some users fall in their trap of taking the card 1st year free and then cancel it , I had conversation with an agent who told me that RBL also offers LTF card to salaried guys with Salary of 50k+ . Coming to AddOn Cards RBL bank is top scorer and is providing Upto 5 AddOn Cards , Considering a Person hold 3 Variants of RBL Cards one can have 18 Credit Cards From RBL bank and thats a whopping number
* IDFC
IDFC bank is new to the Credit Card bussiness and they have 4 Card Variants, viz. Classic , Millenia , Signature and Wealth all on Visa network and the best part is All the cards in their Portfolio are LTF , Right now they are not providing Multiple Cards to a user also no Add On Cards, the rewards rate is low if your spend per month is below 20k , if you cross the 20k per month barrier , rI feel ewards % becomes 2.5%
* Kotak Bank
If you are Salaried with Monthly salary of 1 Lakh or More Kotak will offer you LTF Complimentary Royale Signature Credit Card ( The LTF status will be valid for how long after closure of Salary account is a matter of discussion as my Friends is Still having Salary account with them ) . You can Even try taking a paid card from Kotak and use it for a year and before Annual fees payment call them and threaten them to close the card , you have a fair chance they may convert it on LTF basis . Kotak do allows multiple Credit Cards Variants but how many is not know to me right now. The Number of Addon cards is limited to Only 2 per primary card. Kotak also provides FD based Dream Different 811 Credit Card but keep in mind if you take this card you wont be able to take a normal credit card with Kotak and will need to close this FD based card first before you move to take normal credit cards from Kotak. The Reward points on Kotak are not much exciting however if you are really interested to take it for some Online offers once in a while and dont want to pay any fees they Have Kotak Urbane gold credit card with annual fees of Only Rs.150 + gst which is reversed on Spend of Rs.15000 in a calendar year.
Further to Get a Preapproved LTF Credit card offer from Kotak you can open an 811 Zero balance saving account with kotak keep some amount like Rs.250 to Rs.500 in that and within a year or two you may get an offer of League Platinum Credit Card ( Have seen some user getting such email from Kotak , though yet to confirm if they applied and got the card ).
* HSBC
HSBC is somewhat strict in issuing Credit cards , they generally prefer salaried professional and dont have many credit cards in their portfolio , you can take any variant from HSBC depending on your Rewards appetite you can Take LTF Visa Platinum Card or Smart Value Credit Card or their paid variant offering of Cashback Card with higher rewards which comes with Zero Joining fees and Rs.750+gst Annual fees , but comes with a plus point of 1% Cashback on Wallet Reloads too . Also they are giving Rs.250 Amazon Gift voucher on Online applications processed on their website.
Customers can avail up to 3 add-on credit cards from HSBC , however its not yet clear if they give Addon for the 2nd Primary Card.
* Yes Bank
Yes Banks executives calls and Offers LTF cards once they get your details from some 3rd party like Bankbazaar or Paisabazaar , sounds funny but true. Also you can directly apply on their Website for LTF First Preferred and First Exclusive Credit cards on meeting some ITR conditions. Presently Yes Bank don’t have much offers and the reward rates are also not that good , but you can keep them in your pocket for occasional offers.
You Can get your hands on the Most premium card in Yes Bank catalogue which is Yes First Exclusive by just opening a savings account with them and making an Initial deposit of 3 Lakh or more , which you can later withdraw within a Week or once your Credit card is approved. Sometimes they offer Yes First Preferred Card Instead on 2 Lakh Initial deposit in savings account . Yes Bank allows Maximum 3 Add- On Cards per Primary Card Member account .
Please contribute if you have any thing to share
Kindly someone with credit card pro’s explain the best of best in every category say for ex for FUEL /Grocery /ONLINE /bill payment etc especially for dimers with CREDIT CARD ROTATION requirements
Secondly someone could kindly make a chart where addon card benifits in particular lounge acess,bonus miles etc
While my immediate request is to have addon card which can give Otp on different mobile no or email ID other than the card holders reg credentials as late night deals aren’t usable due to lack Otp
If You Need All in One Card Take Standard Chartered Ultimate , Though their rewards catalogue is not updating and providing Amazon and Flipkart GV from quite long
Coming back to the main thread queries, here's my take: HDFC: You already covered most, just want to add one things regarding multiple cc's; If you happen to have a credit limit of 10L+ on your existing card, you can get that split into cards via your RM, this is how many people have both Infinia and DCB; It works generally especially when you have DCB with said mentioned limit, you can simply tell that the diners network is limiting your spends, so you want to get it split with Infinia. Do note that just CL of 10L won't suffice, your actual spends also needs to be in a decently high to get qualified for the second card. SBI: Nothing to add much, you already covered what I know. Axis: Axis LIC Credit Cards are something that is offered as LTF for any LIC policy holder (variant depends on your policy premium value or ITR/Salary), need to be applied directly from LIC office/agent and not via Axis bank... Axis Insta Easy CC is a secured CC that one can get it directly over the counter based on his FD, and the beauty of this card is that generally this secured card becomes unsecured (FD limit/lien is removed) after about 8-12 months basis your usage pattern; will remain LTF as usual; so pretty good anyone looking to start his cc journey with nil cibil score. BoB: Well, BoB is BoB, no words here XD ICICI: You covered up most, just adding one more; ICICI MMT CC (platinum/signature) are pretty much LTF cards, you just need to pay a joining fees, no annual fees; much like any IndusInd CCs. Amex: Amex has a unique and a beautiful concept of "companion" cards; You hold a payable Gold charge card, you get a free MRCC which stays LTF untill you hold your gold card; The gold card in this case acts like a parent card, the mrcc like a child card; similar thing for any pair, you only pay for the higher variant, the lesser variant becomes ltf. Getting a Citi card is tough job for anyone already holding 3-4 cards or more. Anyways Citi is gonna hand over it's retail business in India soon. IndusInd: just like HDFC, only 1 allowed in general; rare cases of 2 also exists, especially for people holding Iconia Amex, since they get the 2nd one mentioning low acceptance rate of Amex as a reason.
Will add more info later
I am holding Citi both rewards and cashback variants as well.
Indusind – pinnacle credit card is good. but has a big joining fee
Icici – correction you can have any number of ccs
Axis – you can have up to 4 ccs (1 premium and 3 retail )
Indusind having unique feature of LTF by coughing up some fee initially. The joining fee is reimbursed in the form of amazon gift vouchers so what you loose is just the GST component on that joining fees. Since, it’s a fee for whole life, we can easily recover it so everyone must possess the Indusind Pinnacle card.
@BlueFlash – Thanks Bro , You added up many points which I was unaware of , any idea on the AddOn Cards from CitiBank , Amex and Indusind.
I feel InstaEasy CC is not LTF anymore , Axis Bank has made even FD based cards chargeable @ Rs.500 + GST , correct me if I am wrong.
@luciferous – Thanks for providing the inputs on on Axis Cards ,it would be great if you can provide an example for the Card variants in Axis. which will come in Premium and Retails segment
Coming to ICICI , please enlighten us regarding Any number of CC’s in ICICI , I am too much interested in this.
i have seen people who have 7 icici cards listed on their account. so there is no limit for holding ICICI ccs that’s what I have seen as the limits are all shared
RBL allows multiple cards. I think the Limit is 3.
Rather than one best card I would suggest everyone to have these 3 cards Axis Ace, Axis Flipkart and Amazon Apay.
Thanks for the Infor bro , do you personally hold 2 or more RBL Cards ?
ICICI amazonpay card does not have addon card concept.
https://www.icicibank.com/Personal-Banking/faq/...
Can I apply for an add-on card?
No. You cannot apply for an add-on card.
HSBC only issue cards to salaried people.
IDFC and Axis Ace – 2 very good cards missing from this list.
ACE Best for Cashbacks and IDFC – wallet load inclusion.
Thanks , Missed to Add IDFC to the List though I personally Hold it …
Will Add it to the List
Ace card
IndusInd : 1 card normal case. 2 card special case.
Axis : Max 4 cards allowed. @A2Zdeals have I think.
How to come in category of Special Case bro , any hints on the same
what are the possibilities to get 2nd card from Indusind
Hasso mat bhahiya @_One_Miller_ , kuch pata hai to bata do
@BlueFlash knows very well.
A ton of thanks for this mega thread @beastboy
I noticed you put weight on add-on cards in each bank. As far as I know it’s only useful to filter other/family user’s spends on primary card. But what am I missing here?
I have a query to people holding add-on cards: How does CIBIL treat add-on cards ? Do they show up as a different entry (assuming different card number) in the credit report or does it gets clubbed in the same primary card, so no new entry; And if it’s bank specific, let me know.
Basically I wanna know, will availing add-on cards increase the number of credit card entries in my cibil report ?
@caks2006407 @AppleFan @nimod @guest_999 @Tejaa @F7-Dimer-Primer @GoogleCA @Snikeus @Ramta_Jogi @beastboy (sorry for tagging multiple people :p)
If you are primary card holder and giving addon card to parents / siblings then they may or may not have a credit entry in their Cibil and vice versa depending on the bank , I have seen Cibil entries for HSBC , Kotak and Citi Bank Add On , No Entries from Yes Bank and BOB , yet to test for SBI , Axis , ICICI , RBL , Standard Chartered and Indusind AddOn
Koi simply batao, which banks give add-on cards that give seperate numbered card that can be used independently for offers.
All banks except HDFC
Is there any alumni offer going on from HDFC bank to get DCB card LTF?
Yes it will be there now after Diner Ban is lifted by RBI
Which card is equal or better than Axis Ace ????????
HDFC reps are giving me a moneyback card against my 50k limit sbi click card. should i take it?
or are their better cards from axis?
I also have an itr of 2.3 lacs. could that get me a better chance of millenia?
Itna jabardasti kyun kar rahe. Having more than 3-4 cards might get you into trouble while availing loans. They will assume you as a credit hungry person. And no matter how high the CIBIL score is you ll come under risky category.
Take my suggestion. Take only 3 cards. 1) for lounge access 2) for cashback 3) a mix of both. And fuel necessities too Have a good debit card to avail cashback on bill payment. That’s it. Avoid cobranded cards
good share…
1 correction or update for deal wiki… Amex allows 2 free supplementary cards for Gold and MRCC and 4 for platinum… for more supplementary cards INR 1500 one time fee is there @beastboy
Thanks for the Info bro, these are the kind of inputs, I am looking for, Another question does that mean we can have Unlimited Addon cards in Amex or there is an upper limit
More cards more headache
nice information
I actually applied for idfc credit card from their website. I have an excellent credit score 800+ and i have never defaulted payments ever on my existing cards. Those a**es still refused my application and did not even give a reason. Now applying for another bank card has a risk of rejection too till 6 months. I have a stable and good income from past 5 years
the parameters looked into by one bank is different from other bank as it varies between the banks so you need not worry.
I also faced the same issue with IDFC Credit Card though holding IDFC savings account and good CIBIL score also. In fact, they sent a message earlier saying eligible for Credit Card but didn’t apply that time. But, when applied recently, it was rejected with no reason.
Looks IDFC Bank criteria is not clear in issuing credit cards.
IndusInd Pinnacle vs IndusInd Legend – I’m holding a Legend card with a free upgrade offer to Pinnacle. But holding on to Legend as it gives 2% (weekends) even for wallet loads. Pinnacle I hear gives only 1.5% or 0.7% on Wallet loads (although it comes under online spends category.)
Additionally, if we spend 6L in a calendar year using the Legend we get 4000 points (Rs.4000/-) so that’s an additional 0.66% on top of 2%. The only catch here is all your spends need to be over the weekend which could be quite a hassle.
Thanks for providing this additional info bro , btw from how long you are holding the Legend Credit Card and whats the present card limit
What good is HDFC best price save Max Diner card?
https://www.hdfcbank.com/personal/pay/cards/bus...
Card Seems Good , but Only available for Self Employed with ITR above 10 Lakh and Must have Best Price Store Membership.
Anyone please tell advantages of one card metal version,I recently bought this card.
The rewards rate is not good but in terms of regular offers and the Cashback you accumulate using this card surpassed any card in the market

I have 5 cards from different banks, every card payment dates are different it’s a hassle. Cred helped a lot in maintaining and viewing in one place.
How come you are maintaining this many cards, can you explain?
Need a rupay credit card LTF, preferably select or else platinum, which one is the best??
@abhishek012
