I placed an order on the 01.06.2019 which unfortunately did not work out and I initiated return as per their return policies. Their courier was supposed to come and pick up the order but arrived on a moped to pick up my bulky order and realised he could not take it. He promised to come back but never did in spite of me repeatedly following up with them. I finally convinced customer service to refund the amount and they can pick up the order at their convenience. It is unfair that they made me wait for more than two weeks to sort out the issue with the courier. They processed the refunded on the 26.06.2019 and I got am email saying the money would be back in my account by the 03.07.2019. I dont know why but they decided to split my amount into two and I received refund reference number (RRN) for 1/3rd of the amount but nothing for the bulk 2/3rd which was processed separately. It is now 09.06.2019 and I have yet to receive the money. I contacted customer for 6 or 7th time requesting for a RRN but in spite of promising to get it for me within 24 hours they have not.
This has been the single most frustrating experience of online ordering I have ever faced. I feel like I am being cheated and lied to at every step of the way. Amazon India took my money and won’t return it! I have used Amazon in the US, UK, Canada and Europe and I am shocked to the core that I have had this experience with Amazon. Amazon India is the worst customer service. I strongly caution who wish to use their services.
