You will receive a call back from kotak customer care and tell them you want to convert your Visa League to RuPay variant.
Already one person convert Kotak Urbane Visa to Urbane RuPay variant. So, same method will also work for Visa League credit card.

then on shouting and escalating they used to reverse it, happened 5 years everytime.
seems kotak policy is to charge everyone, and reverse for 5% who shout and complain, remaining unsuspecting
95% peoples money is eaten away.
another fraud what kotak did was international exchange rates were very poor, i used to get 4000 USD, lets say the exchange rate is 82, other banks will convert it at 81 or 81.15 but kotak were horrible and exchanging at 79 frauds, so with every transaction i was losing 8000 rupees almost.
kicked kotak out, most unethical fraudster bank

I already have Kotak privy league credit card. Can you pl. confirm if I can get this card. Applied for axis FK and SBI simply click card in past both rejected with a cibil hit because these were secondary cards.
RBL zomato card also closed without any replacement as I already had another RBL card. Don't want to risk cibil score any further.

how to select rupay variant?
i do have an active kotak account with big balance. but i dont want to apply online with CRN. they are fraudsters.
they will charge even if they claim everything is free, I dont like minimum 50,000 minimum spend. arguing with them 100's of times and reversing joining fee, annual fee is not for me.😉
Didn't work for me either. Denied conversion over the call, asked for cancelling the card and applying fresh after 6 months.
"Regret to inform you that your application is not approved" I have another kotak card (zen) , may be that is why they rejected mine
