But someone told me bank can open 811 super account not confirmed but what I heard so that's why i am asking
I have a 4 year old account and still haven't got an option to upgrade..

what is so special in 811 Super?
5% cashback upto 500 per month on debit card spends, currently giving CB on SBI unipay, airtel thanks app etc too so it is good for cc payments.
But there is annual fee 300 right? minimum ₹5,000 transaction per month for 811 Super cashback
The deposit of ₹5,000 every month is just the easiest condition that you need to fulfil for the 811 Super account. You can take the money out whenever you want. There is no min balance criteria, and the annual fee of ₹300 is easily justified since it can be used instead of other options which usually gives 1% for offline transactions and other stuff, so I'm earning additional 4% every month which amounts to ₹4,800 annually.
@Sahil.Verma475 Don't worry about the upfront payment. I've set SI in my HDFC account to transfer 10k every month to Kotak (since 5% cashback is set for ₹500 max) to smoothen things out.
I applied for 811 super on Wednesday... The team contacted for physical KYC and need to pay 5000/- during kyc... After that account number will be generated.... I was busy today, so will do KYC on Monday but worried on up front payment before account opening.....
Can we open kotak account for family member with same mobile no linked to my own kotak account?
For 811 Super to get 5% cashback, do we need to do transaction using Physical Debit card or Virtual Debit card also fine?
1. If you mean NFC payments using GPay, Samsung Pay etc, then it will work.
2. The Virtual Card associated with the regular 811 account still remains active, so I'm not sure if it too will earn cashback. Technically it should since it is mentioned on their page, but I never cared so didn't enquire.
