Those who feels that keeping beard in formal environment (Office & Society) will make them look cool... note that it is suitable only in South Indian movies. 😂 In reality, you have to trim it regularly and keep in shape...

Just an observation regarding keeping beard(especially talking about corporate world)

Every guard is checking very very properly. ..metro security and EVEN office security is checking laptop ,ID, etc. on gate properly..
Just an observation: If we keep beard, are we becoming suspects of crime?? Lol

Don't trim your beard.
If you want to do something interesting then:
Start counting backwards from 10 to 1, it will drive people around you crazy.
Even crazier, they will lift me up and take to nearest police station
Keeping beard after being clean shave for long time changes your facial features. I generally keep beard but in a year I get it clean 2-3 times at most and people gets shocked by seeing my face as they are habituated to see me with beard.
@Honeyyyyy1 - Is that how you look like in beard?
@Honeyyyyy1 might have never imaged that it's going to turn into a completely different peaceful topic
Yeah, I was just sharing my experience..lol
they feel clean shaved one's are "dudh ke dhule"
I get routinely stopped by my housing society's security guards and am asked by the staff to take the service elevator when I am dressed in my home / worn-out clothes and I am carrying a stubble 😄
Embarrassed, I smile and tell them that "Main owner hoon" ("I am an owner"). Now they get embarrassed, say "Sorry Sir" and let me through 😅
@Honeyyyyy1 You might be looking like Yamraj (Adivasi Oil Type) with your Black beard. So they were Scared.😱😱
In the professional environment, the presence of a beard can influence how individuals are perceived and treated. Based on personal experience, I maintain a clean-shaven appearance to avoid any potential misinterpretations ( my beard is almost negligible due to patches ), Despite being 28 years of age, my youthful appearance often leads to mistaken assumptions about my age, especially among younger individuals. This may be attributed to genetics, as my 25-year-old brother also has a youthful appearance just like he is still a teenager boy.
I use it as an advantage for instance- evening or morning walk around my society and uncle, aunties be like - By which angle does he look like 28?😅😅 I can flirt with anyone easily, whether she is a high school girl or a 30-year-old mature woman. I'll use this God's gift carefully without wasting any seconds of my life🤤
Edit : Pubs consistently refuse me entry without verifying my legal age through an ID check. This frequent occurrence has discouraged me from patronizing these establishments. I even bought the beardo oil to grow my beard but haven't seen any improvements 🥲
Also my observation is having a completely bold shaven head and clean shaven face gets you lots of sympathetic looks. Maybe because they think somebody in family died.
To comments which talk about professional environment, bearded man and 'potentially' being treated differently in a negative way. I'm a man with beard and I'm in this 'professional' environment for years and never heard a bearded man being treated or looked upon differently!!
We are in the age where appearance DOES NOT matter. What you bring to the table matters.
Many company force clean shave. Recently in mass TCS interview someone got recjected because of not clean shave.
Whenever someone asked me why i keep beard .
I give them honest answer that a girl has broken my heart and I have become Arjun Reddy aka Kabir singh
I've noticed that when I grow my beard, it tends to attract the attention of women, particularly those who are married, and often leads to flirtatious interactions, especially at the gym 🤐
🧔 Beard =
I'm noticing some dimers repeatedly sowing double tone communal comments and are also engaged in direct abusive comments in posts here in desidine. What are the moderators doing about this.
P.S. to op, it seems like you're lying or just making an imaginary post to get engagement.
I've seen a lot of people esp Indians, including north Indian Hindus keeping beards after Virat Kohli became a hot icon.
Previously, only some Muslims and Sikhs and people from South Indian states kept beards.
And not a single person with beard is stopped unnecessarily like you said in metros or elsewhere.
Wear Pathani Kurta Salwar along with that beard , you might not even reach office

Earlier, there was a rule for delivery agents in Ekart to be completely clean shaven.
