Jio To Announce 5G Plans
The Reliance AGM 2023 will take place on August 28th, the company revealed in a notice to the exchanges, as per The Economic Times. The AGM is expected to be live-streamed through Reliance's official YouTube channel starting at 2 PM IST.
Apart from the announcement of the listing date of Jio Financial Services, Mukesh Ambani is also expected to make some announcements regarding Jio 5G plans and the Jio 5G smartphone, among other things.

Jio 5G services are already available in thousands of cities across the country, with a complete rollout expected by 2024. However, Jio is yet to announce its 5G plans - users have so far been able to use 5G services on existing 4G plans. The company could use the AGM 2023 stage to finally reveal 5G plans. As per past reports, Jio 5G plans are expected to cost similar to current 4G plans, but with more usable data and other benefits.

Jio will stop free 5g immediately after launching plans.
There is no connection with existing plan.
They, I think, had also stayed that the data price differential (compared to competitors) would always be in favour of Jio customers.
However, that statement did not age well eventually.
It will took some time so probably trial will continue till oct-nov (around diwali)

Looking at their 5G speed I am 0.00000000% interested in paying even re. 1 over normal 4G network.
before every agm this type of news come but eventually they dont release plans in agm meeting at all, once they released this jio plans in agm then these plans were scraped and they pretend they never released them 😜, after that mota bhai dont announce anything concrete on agm

That will be super surgical strike and very intelligent decision or business move. Make 4g plan 350 bucks pm. And keep 5g plan 300 bucks pm.
I'm getting 5g for 24x7 hours in Mumbai.
I wasted many trial days earlier. Because for my device poco m4 pro 5g, software update was required to enable 5g.
I was on MIUI 12. And I didn't update it to MIUI 14.
I formatted the device and updated and updated it from 12 to 13 and 14 on the same day.
5g was activated on the MIUI 13 update already. And it was so fast that within 5 min 4 gb MIUI 14 update was downloaded, I was getting 15-20 MBps speed for that in the evening around 7 pm
I have never seen mobile Internet speed above 5 MBps with 4g.
When I searched the internet for jio 5g speed in Mumbai.
It's around 70-100 MBps average.
As of now speed varies throughout the day. And I'm not getting the best 5g speed i.e. 100MBps.

Jio is Crap. Although it's because of them we are getting data cheaper but their services sucks. Airtel is far better than jio. Look in my area both have 5g services but i use Airtel mostly and i a Airtel extreme fiber connection which is also good.

What is the use of all these specifications without any confirmation from the operator?
Is this unlimited 5g pack valid for only 23 days because in app it's showing only 23 days validity even though my recharge validity is 1 year?
I am having a 800 plan with airtel so dont need 5g. I don't use mobile data.
Well, I took the risk and recharged for 1 year because 5g users are fewer, and in the whole of Hyderabad the network keeps on changing from 5g to 4g so still it's not stable. In short, demand is not that high for 5g as 5g mobiles are costly and Jio infra is not up to Mark with 5g so they may keep giving 5g to test their network.
That's my silly reason for recharging for a year. Will see if I am a fool or brilliant mind 
Have again recharged Jio Yearly plan last month. Don't doubt your brilliancy for this, just the best bet we can do. If Jio stops 5G trial its going to affect all, doesn't matter much.

Or, to be safe you can recharge with 61rs. And u will get unlimited 5g voucher with it for remaining period of validity.
But, I am only saying this because it worked this way for me in June.
Today 5g unlimited data provided. may be by next I think limited 5g data announced....with increasing data limit than 4g with same plan.
