Right mow i am on VI postpaid. If I want Jio 5G UL cheap, what is my best option? Because porting also takes many days ☹️

- Unlimited 5G data will be available on all 2GB/day and above plan
- The new plans will be made effective on 3rd July 2024 and can be opted from all existing touchpoints and channels
- The telecom company announced that JioBharat/JioPhone users will continue to enjoy the existing tariffs.

Send port message right away after making an advance payment of extra amount (do not worry, in 2005 also they sent cheque for extra amount paid).
If Unique Porting Code is in hand and even if you go out right now (20:30 hours, Thursday) some or the other shop or retailer/agent can take the request for Jio and fill the Customer Acquisition Form (CAF).
If CAF gets filled today (Thursday) and hopefully Friday,Monday are not bank holiday then by Tuesday your number will be with Jio.
Thereafter if you queue any plans which have 2GB high speed data per day.. then even after July 03, 2024.. you will be able to use the free 5G Jio offer. Port today or by Friday. Then use advance recharges in Jio.. plans with 2GB daily data.

No one exactly knows if we will queue value packs then will we be entitled for unlimited 5g or not if that plan will start from 4th of July.
So, here I am trying to understand what majority of dimers think about this, Whatever most dimers here think I will accordingly take risk and recharge my number with 1559rs plan.

Modiji ko tweet karo BSNL ko bachake rahne ke liye. Abhi coma se dheere dheere bahar a Raha hain.
Baki kisne coma me bhej diya ye toh sabko pata hain.
BSNL call ke liye acha hain, par data me problem ayigi jaisa sabne bataya.
Par data bhi important hain like cab booking, etc. Atleast 4g will do.

Hi There is trick for users whose recharge is about to expire in few days after 3rd July. You can recharge with value pack and then start it on 2nd July itself without waiting for the current pack to expire on it's on and then get the recharged pack activated. This way you can make sure that you get unlimited 5g, because once a pack is activated Jio is not going to roll back it's benefits.
But those whose recharge is going to expire after a month or so, can't take benefit of this.

Can't see any 1599 plan anymore in the Jio app, from where are you supposed to do that recharge?
The cheapest yearly plan available now is 2545 i.e 1.5gb/day.
Let me know if any other app is showing 1599 plan.

I feel this thread is needless (apart from attention grabbing) and should be merged or deleted.
It was already known that only the packs with at-least 2GB daily data will be needed if activated on July Fourth or later.. for the free 5G data offer to work.

For Rupay platinum card users with multiple cards, it doesn't make that much sense to queue as card gives 20% offer normally if you queue now you can't use card offer for full year
You can't recharge value plans from Amazon or any other platform
I've asked this question from a customer care representative and they told me you'll get unlimited 5G for queued affordable plans as well.
First rule of DD, never trust customer support.
they increased call only packs like 155/395/1559 @ 22% while data packs @ 20% they always do that punish 'call only users' more than their data users
