so i have 2 jio sims i have not recharged one of them for like 10 days now jio customer care calling and saying from tonight incoming will be off if u dont recharge right now ,are they bullshiting me or its true? can i do anything about it ?

Not recharged 1 sim for last 2 years . Still getting incoming calls and messages.

They are lying don't worry. You will get sms prior to discontinuation of jio network. Jio works without recharge of 3years. Thanks to Ambani. You will be getting incoming calls only for lifetime.
Saying to me from 2017.....i always says.... U can disconnect... Still sim going... I get incoming calls and sms till date.... The persons calling are just telecallers... They don't have any power to do anything with your connection so chill

Simply say to them that you're facing some financial issues and will recharge shortly.
Don't troll or block them. They may forward to higher authorities to get your number disconnected.
2. Not much. At most you might raise it to their nodal authorities or then to TRAI. They will at most tell that okay fine, we have taken cognizance of it and will ensure that the agency responsible for falsification or pressure tactics gets warned or simply some vague 'appropriate action taken' report will be given..
In reality though, the bosses themselves tell the tele-callers to use various tactics to scare, manipulate the customers.
Might be area/ circle specific or marketshare pressure specific
but often others simply get a request call to keep the number active by recharging with at-least ₹149 (for non jio phone users).
Such calls to come well outside of the 30-40 day period since outgoing stops.
I can half guess that such falsification, manipulation calls might be the case in specific regions and not in other states.
Don't worry, everything will work as usual . Employees says this thing because Jio Hired them to keep customers recharged every month without missing and they get incentive for this

It's pure nonsense, i haven't recharged since 3-4 months or more i guess. Nothing happens.
